A few years ago bought own branded waterproof trainers from them and they were awesome, very good grip, waterproof for life of trainers, good support, never ripped seams intact, just the sole wore out over time. No complaints there at all.

Just bought classic waterproof gloves for me, puddles wellies n yeti fleece knee length foot warmer boot things for the Mrs. Utter shiite. The gloves didn't arrive 1st time emailed and they resent, fair play to them. BUT the quality of the items is appalling. All naff, the gloves soak water up and holds it, you don't get wet but you do get cold, really cold. Have to keep hands in pockets if the gloves get wet. The seams of the gloves are parting after maybe 6 wears, and no work done with them on, not even made a snow ball in em. The fleece boots are shapeless, grippless and there's no way to keep them up. Knee length for a pigmy maybe but even if you had the legs of a 5 year old girl there's no way to keep em above your ankles. ps Mrs is 5f6 and they reach half way up calf (if you hold on to em). They're like someat from the market for 2 quid, not the 20 quid they cost. The wellies have bad joints, they're water tight (for now) but you can see where they're gonna fail. The threads from the structure are exposed underneath for a start and are already catching and pulling out, in snow.. Again like a market knockoff. The local farmers supplier that I previously thought overpriced offers, for the exact same money, vastly superior items. I'll never use these again. Put in the same bracket as Outdoor World. The Gelert reject store in Porthmadog is better and that's shiite these days. Gonna have to stump up a bit more and stick with Cotswolds, never had problems there.

This is my second experience of Moutain Warehouse customer services - last Christmas I bought kids torches which arrived broken so returned them but they claimed they never recieved them and I got no refund then this year I bought Snow Boots described on website as Water Resistant which leaked water in the first time I used them on a rainy day to be told that they weren't designed for use in rain but only use in snow and so didn't qualify for a refund as they weren't faulty!!!!! I will NEVER use them again.

I bought a tent which was reduced because it had been used once. I then got home to discover that the case has been defaced with permanent marker and that I had not received the 20% off that I should have. The shop refused to replace the case, saying that they did not consider two big 'D's in permanent marker defacing, and also tried to justify not giving me the 20% off by quoting how much I had already saved. The terms of the offer said that it included all reduced items! They have failed to uphold selling regulations and then further failed to resolve this.

I had to push past a gang of bored teenagers to get in and once inside i just wanted to get back out again as quickly as possible. Everything was made in China and 6 times the price sold everywhere else.

I purchased a jacket from Mountain Warehouse, and as far as jackets go it's great, the staff were very helpful (hence the review), and the range of products were good too, they had exactly what I wanted.10/10,A+
