Beware - Before You Try This Company - Read This First !
I've been trying to get my £350 back from them since jan 2015 for an engine i paid for and never got - one of his sons answered his phone when i called them out of the blue recently try calling him yourself - best of luck - norwich trading standards have investigated him and took his computers - i got back to them and they told me they didn't have enough evidence to prosecute him - he just got a slap on the wrist - they said they thought he was just a bad business man - it beggars belief - i'm so angry - i'd rather have given my £350 to the homeless

Rogue Operator With No Intention Of Supply Or Refund -
I had ordered an engine from the person I dealt with and after spending money with a due delivery date the engine was never delivered. all subsequent communication has been fruitless and I am now pursuing legal avenues to recoup my monies.

I Followed The Procedure And Listed My Requirement
I followed the procedure and listed my requirement and paid my £5.
However when I received the email comfirmation of the search, the part description was incomplete.
Therefore no-one knows what I am looking for!
The major problem is - I cannot advise them of their error wothout incurring further costs.
I think this borders on being considered a sham.

Steer Clear - Zero Stars!
Where to start...? I ordered an engine from the person I dealt with on Fine an Engine UK and A and C delivered the wrong one. They could supply the right one so collected the engine they had delivered and promised a full refund..
That's where the problems start - they seem to have no interest in refunding your money and each call was met with a different excuse.
Luckily I paid A and C using my credit card and have now been able to recover that money, but am still waiting for the money paid to the person I dealt with and Find an Engine UK so have today started court proceedings..
I received an initial email from [email protected] having searched on their website. The email directed me to pay a 2000 pound deposit and gave the account and sort code numbers.
The email was signed by Peter - Find an Engine UK....
They are linked and they are schysters!

This Man Needs Locking Up
Like all the reviews i have read i to have been done out of £300.00 hundred this man needs sorting out. I order a engine in may 2016 when it did not come within 4 weeks i rang and ask where it was only to be told that it had arrived put it was the wrong engine, after that i have not bean able to get in tough with this man.

Avoid At All Costs
I ordered an ej20 impreza engine 2ltr 4wd, They send a 1.6, they then after 2 weeks collected it and sent another engine. This was also the wrong engine.
In total they sent 3 wrong engines this kept my car off the road for 6 weeks.
Then after the owner was complaining to me that he was loosing money in collecting these wrong engines. I instructed him to collect the third wrong engine and forget it and give me a refund as he is obviously incompetent.
He then fobbed me off with not collecting the engine and saying he will hold my £700 and not refund me until collection. This run around went on for 4 weeks until I got visa involved and they reimbursed my money.
I then told findapart the engine was now in the garden and want it removing from my property!
They then started threatening if there was damage to the engine with it not covered up and open to the elements they will take me to court for damage of their property.
stay away from this rubbish company!!

Non Delivery
I ordered an engine which was promised in 4 weeks with 3 weeks being travelling and then advise when drop would be made.
The person on the phone answered quickly and politely and gave me BACS details.
No engine and despite messages left no response from phone calls or emails.
Phone box is now full on landline and voicemail on mobile given also not being answered.
Now reading some reviews and think I have been ripped off.

Ordered & paid £300 deposit- 17/06/15 for an engine (28-delivery).
Began chasing-up after 8 weeks and 5 months later the balance is being requested BEFORE the goods are released.
I think we can deduce what sort of operation this is!

Do Not Use !!!
Ordered my engine in september 2015 -- paid £275 and full of excuses of engine stuck at customs / then he was unwell / etc etc i have called police and got log numbers i have called c. A. B - and trading standards who looked into this and told me to go get an n1court form or to go to moneyclaimonline. Co. Uk i have called watchdog rogue traders --- awaiting reply (( please help me do this also )) lets go all in and get this chap = to help others -- my trading standards ref is 13125727 and just ad yours to mine -- if we work together we will stop these people (( and i mean stop them )) !! i have no engine - no money refund - no van back on road costing me lots -

Q&A
I had the same problem. Okay they had problems with flooding etc, but 8 months on and no engine and no refund. There have been many emails and calls (around 25 of each), so have contacted the bank as no one replies to my recent emails or phone calls. The owner apparently passed away leaving his son to take charge, but again, rubber earring me. Does anyone know where I can find the address of the Find A Part place? I may be visiting him to discuss the sorry affair.
