Hi! I was looking for a mp3 player without any knowledge about the gadget. Accidentally tumbled upon a Sony NWZ-A829 for a competitive price on E bay and tempted to buy on the basis of the price compared to the similar mp3 players.For a lay man the packing was great, but, the player was so slim and small But when I read the quick set up and done the synchronisation with my Windows media player library without any hazel and listened for the first time... I was totally blown off with the sound and built quality of Sony. For a person who was mesmerised by the Apple products, this is truly a best choice, and I would recommend any body confidently. The personal setting of the equalizer option is amazing with the deep bass.And the Blue tooth wireless head set is another boost for a trouble free music enjoyment Though I haven't had a chance of listening to the Cowon A9, I believe this is a fantastic little beast to fulfil your thirst for a quality sound.The same old songs of my favourite playlist sounded completely mind blowing with Sony. I can simply say its like the difference between watching a good movie on an old black& white analog tv and the latest Full HD LED T.v, when you listen the songs on another mp3 player and My Sony Mp3 Player NWZ-A829
