Tamiya 1/12 Midnight Pumpkin RC Truck Kit Car Metallic Finish

Got this a present..

Was a kit that needed to be built up..

I was recovering from a hand op with 3 pins inserted..

I loved building her up, upgrading to metal bearings and oil filled shocks

I made a few mods to stabilize the front end - and re route the wires of the motor.. The truck is quick enough to mess around with and heaps of fun in the dirt..

I would love a lexan body to thrash around in as the metalic body is a scarce collectable bit - which i would hate to damage,,,

Next upgrade is to brushless motor system....

I would have liked to know - more about battery requirement before I started, but I learnt quickly which battery was best suited.

I have a Tamiya Mettalic Midnight Pumpkin

I didnt like this Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin RAC truck. It wasnt fast enough and I dont think i actually had much control over it. Its really fiddly and to be honest I was looking for something a bit more straightforward.
