I am a disabled senior lady living alone. Lost satelite service. Then programming wouldn't work. I called your sevice & got the sweetest lady. Grace LKC2936. She very kindly & patiently walked me through the steps to reprogram my remote & make it work. I have the highest respect & praise for Grace. I've had good help before but I rate her as the highest. I have been having a problem with my tivo not recording correctly. After many phone calls, today my problem was taken care of by Justin in Oregon. He is sending me a new receiver and a credit on my bill. He was very professional, courteous and had time to tell me how long he would be on hold. I did not like that it took me about five calls to get things corrected..... While we were on a trip last week we had a problem with our receiver in our RV, with a phone call it was corrected, we happen to be in Death Valley, CA. I have been a customer for a long time. Cindy

The comment about renewing without permission is absolutely correct. We called to negotiate fees, thinking our contract was up. Surprise! Since we added another receiver, the contract was renewed as of the date of buying that receiver.
<br/>Also, customer service is abysmal. Service reps refuse to pass us along to supervisors and refuse to honor our service protection plan.

DirectTVs service is brilliant, Bought a Teco 37" tv last year from them, Tv was playing up sent it to manufacturer Teco who told me that it should take 7 - 10 working days, after 5 weeks no Tv, Teco customer service is shocking, I called Directtvs who arranged a next day replacement for me, from their stock, so I would recommend Directtvs to anyone.

DirectTV is the best entertainment company by far. I have had it for well over two years, have experienced three outages (during storms) and have call customer service ONE TIME. It took 15 minutes on the phone with a very helpful and friendly representative and three days for a new receiver to come in. BRAND NEW, perfect working order. I am so impressed.

My recent experience was EXCELLENT. Receiving an email flyer, I looked for a HP Laptop and a Panasonic 37" LCD TV to be purchased for church use. There was also a carrying case for it advertised. I went directly to the website to purchase the first one, then realised they where based near my workplace. For the second purchase i went in store, I was helped quickly and told the salesman the case was on sale on the website. He checked and the sale price was given to me. So my visit was pleasant, they were helpful and quick and I might even go back and buy a few more for home use.

Cindy- I have been roaming around this site and have ran across many customers reviews, being a DISH employee and subscriber I cant say personally how Directs fees work. I know that many people say once they have received a new box, whether it be a replacement or an addition they are automatically signed to a new 2 year contract. Just as a word to the wise, DirecTV is known for automatic renewals without customers consent. Check your contract!
