Waste Of Money Stay Well Clear

One to stay clear of, build and part quality is nothing like the older Zanussi washers.

Balance weight nuts were loose within 13 months,(1 week out of warranty to be exact) Comet and Zanussi were not interested in helping.

Fixed it myself with some quality nylock nuts.

Door seal leaked after 15 months, replaced it myself.

Now the heater element has gone despite using a water softner. £40 part and £60.00 for the man to change (luckily could do it myself).

To be honest i cant be bothered to spend on a new element as something else is bound to go wrong, so im going to buy a BEKO with the hope it will last 2 years and at £160.00, £80.00 a year looks a better option than £260.00 for a Zanussi plus repair charges for year 2.(i know that you can buy the 3 Year warrany for £160.00 but its the same as a new BEKO.

We Have Owned Our Zanussi For Just Over A Year. Wh

We have owned our Zanussi for just over a year. Whilst repairing our hoover tumble dryer bought at the same time the engineer said the bearings had gone. Since I hadnt taken extended warranty I decided to do myself. Except there arent any bearings, there is a huge fly wheel instead on the back of the drum, which no one supplies, and I cant see how to remove. Not impressed by Zanussi at all, back to Bosch for us.
