Let's just say, we could never travel economy again after upgrading on first choice. The flight attendants were polite. The cherry on top of the cake (pun intended) had to be the food, a spilling over the menu, we were served a feast of tender meats (yes, they do have vegetarian meals) and just pure yummyness really. It was well worth the extra money paid. First choice was first class!

I flew from Manchester to Las Palmas on an Air 2000 Boeing 767. Outbound flight code AMM188C. Checked in at Manchester 2 and a half hours before take off, everything went smoothly. Our flight was supposed to depart at 7:45am and we was asked to board at gate 215 at 6:45am. We took off at 7:20. The aircraft was quite old and it seemed that it was struggling to get off the ground during take off. Meals were nice, staff friendly, the seats seemed old but they were bearable and the toilets and plane were clean. We made up even more time and we landed in Las Palmas an hour ahead of schedule 11:25 instead of 12:25.
Return flight AMM188D- check in once again was good, aircraft landed an hour late from Manchester so we wasn't asked to board till an hour after we was supposed to depart. The aircraft was brand new, comfortable seats and friendly staff who greeted us. We left the stand at gate number 8 and headed for the runway and hour and 15mins late, we then had to wait another 30 minutes as there was several arriving and departing flights. Overall delay of an hour and 45mins. Flight very good, was very impressed. We then landed at Manchester at 18:40 instead of 17:30 so we had made up time but as our plane had landed late our gate had been taken so we had to wait for 15mintues for another Air 2000 flight to depart for Monastir. Overall flights very good!

We went with Air 2000 in March to Alicante, check-in at Manchester was very good same can't be said about Alicante. When we booked this we was asked if we would like a child's meal you pay extra for that but they are especially for them, so we thought why not, when it came i could not belive it my son had the same has us and the only difference was he got a cheese cake i thought what a waste of money that was when i asked about it the cabin crew said that's what the children get i wouldn't be ordering anymore i can tell you. Our meal was bad enough.
Cabin crew are very helpful and are very good with children.

February 2004 Air 2000 'ticketless' flight booked online. Manchester to Alicante / Alicante to Manchester. Booked many months in advance - quite a good saving, although still well over £600 for three adults and a child. Air 2000 e-mail you the full details, you print it out, and then take it to the check in desk on day of travel - simple as that! Flight departure time from Manchester was altered weeks before, - received a phone call from Air 2000, followed by another e-mail. Boeing 757 (the ones with a centre aisle and three seats either side) on both journeys. Nice comfy blue 'leatherette' seats, although I detect slightly less legroom than Britannia flight taken a few months earlier (don't think I've grown any taller at 54!). Onboard meals: now this is where I personally find fault. Ok, they call them "complimentary" . . . but!! If you are not a meat eater forget them, as sausage, bacon etc. on one journey and beef stew and dumplings (yes, read that again) on the other journey. The latter was rejected by a large number of passengers. When I asked if there was anything else, - sorry no, - vegetarian meals have to be pre-booked (was not told this on any e-mail correspondence). Yet, I could have sworn I overheard some passengers who could not eat the meat on religious grounds being offered either cheese or tuna mayo. sandwiches! (perhaps my hearing was distorted by cabin pressure).
Incident at Alicante Airport. All passengers were checked down to a bus waiting area (a sort or large room with just a handful of chairs where you board a bus which takes you to your plane). We were all stuck in this area for about 45 minutes. Absolutely awful! Many very elderly passengers and couples with babies! Now the reason was that Air 2000 - found a faulty seatback in the plane which could not be repaired. But just who was to blame for this long wait in this awful room for so long? Was it Alicante Airport or Air 2000? Whoever it was, is an absolute idiot and should have been dismissed for this mistake.

We went to Malaga with Air 2000 and overall the plane was clean and the staff were friendly. The check-in queues were all right in length but as there were so many of us we could check in at the premier desk. There wasn't much leg room, the food wasn't great and I noticed the plane was quite loud during take off though it quietened down afterwards, but what more can you expect from such a cheap airline? During our stay a girl came to join us and went on air 2000 as an unaccompanied minor. She said the staff had been really nice to her, the only thing was that we had to go in and collect her suitcase with her and take her to the gate on the way back.
The plane on the way back was newer and had TVs but we had a few problems before take off. First the cold air conditioning wasn't working though we were assured it would once the plane got moving. Then we were told the anti-freezing system of the plane wasn't working and it had to be fixed. When it had, the plane had to be fuelled up again but luckily we could stay on it. We lost our place in the sort of take-off list but when we did take off again it was fine and we were less than an hour late I think when we landed. At least we never had any turbulence in the air both ways.

The flight was good as we did get caught in some mid air turbulance for 10mins or so but overall very good clean airline.

We flew with Air 2000 to Reus (Costa Dorada) as part of a package holiday earlier this year and I have nothing but praise for the airline. Check in was straightforward at Manchester and we didn't have any delays. Baggage collection at Reus was relatively pain free. The return journey was more difficult as our coach arrived late at the check in and our family was informed that we would not be able to sit together. some polite but firm discussion (our youngest is 2!) resolved the problem. Overall I would recommend this company.

It's such a shame that a brilliant service is let down by such a trivia as on-board meals. But you know, these are the sort of things people remember as it's human nature to recall the negative before the positive. Have Air 2000 sorted out the food yet I wonder?
