Capitals Of Easten Canada -insight Vcation
Long story short, my fellow travelers are now all 'friends' and the the hotels/ accommodations. the bus/coach and driver were all good. The cities visited 'seemed' nice. Everything else needs to be evaluated.
I travel quite a bit, so this excursion was very disappointing for me.
In my case, I think less in better in this review as there was so many things that could be improved.
I hate to disappoint my fellow traveler with a negative review. But many travel long distances and I do not think this particular escorted tour is worth ones time, or expense.
I would have not purchased this tour as I expected more from 'premier' tour group.

I Have Booked Three Different Trips With Insight.
I have booked three different trips with Insight. They are the best. All my tours have been more than 2 weeks long. The coaches are extremely comfortable. Our local guides are always informative and helpful. Our tour guides have always been exceptional. The drivers are without par.
I'd never choose a different company.
We have made some lasting friendships with our companions. Most guests seem to be from Australia and New Zealand which gives us a great chance to mingle with others of the world.
Before you go, you do need to know that the optional tours can be pricey.

We travelled on the "Splendours af Ireland and Scotland" tour. The coach was excellent and the tour guide very knowledgable and helpful, unitil we filled in the opinion form and tips. Then never heard of again.
There were two tours at the same time, so we often had to change hotels to those listed. With some of them being out too far to do anything in free time ( Edinburgh twenty pound cab fare to town). The meals provided were generally well below average, so we ate at restaurants at our own expense.
There was a passenger who was coughing on boarding at the start, and this resulted in nearly all having to go to the doctor for treatment, with one in hospital. The coach was attacked in Edinburgh with some people receiving minor cuts and most terribly shaken and distressed, with no concern or follow up shown by the company or it's representatives.
The experience has certainly taught us not to travel on coach tours and we would not recommend this company to take our dog on holidays.
