Samsung HT-TZ315R

Had my HT-TZ315 about 18mths ,and just started getting a disc error message when trying to load a disc , phoned samsung and customer service told me to take it to there nearest engineer (whom happens to be over 30 miles away) to get a firmware upgrade!!!! , i argued the point that the player was relatively new and that why being so new why should i have to start messing about upgrading and shelling out extra money on what was already a expensive system , but aswell as being rude she just stated that i get a 1 year warranty and thats it!!! So BEWARE before buying!! ,the system itself is just okay as there are better brands out there i.e sony.

Rear speaker cables are just 5 metres long. Never in a million years will these cables reach around ANYONE'S lounge and upon calling Samsung Support, I was told that all their rear speaker cables are that length, but I could invest in their wireless speaker box (£80). As the unit is not faulty, I cannot return it and now I have a home cinema that has no functioning rear speakers. Avoid if you have a lounge bigger than Bilbo Baggin's, but a great unit if your lounge is the size of a Smart Car...

Very good sound and picture quality, love the tall boy speakers

Made it wireless to the rear speakers by purchasing a wireless receiver model swa 4000

Very good system for the price works very well especially if you have a samsung tv, but to get sound from normal tv watching through the surround system you will have to purchase an optical lead.
