Excellent Service
Used LCY for the first time and was very impressed. Okay, it's a small airport with fairly limited facilities compared to the Big Boys in London, but what it loses in Duty Free and shops they more than make up for in customer service. The staff were helpful and genuinely keen to assist and it's got it's own station on the Docklands Light Railway so you can be in the centre of London in no time at all for less than a fiver! Definitely worth using.

Totally agree, certainly did not miss the crowds that you get at LHR. And we flew via Zurich to Venice with SWISS, a bar of chocolate every leg of the journey!

London City airport is not really that good because the shops and eating facilities are poor and the staff are unhelpful. The airport could be cleaner and the transport links are not brilliant!
Yes, but you can get through LCY much faster than LHR or LGW, and without the crowds.
