Ian Stuart Bridal Wear

Bought 2 dresses for more than 3.5k with the dearer dress requiring considerable alteration as it needed downsizing by a whole size. We had all the reassurances and promises that it could be done and there is no issue with that, even if a new dress needs to be done to get the correct fit. It started well but when things were not as planned, the nasty face appeared which was quite surprising and unexpected. By that time with a short time left for the wedding, we accepted the dress as it was and especially that we were told we would not, and not can not, do anymore. Very rude and arrogant character showed up and points of comment from our side were taken as "complaints"

The quality was good but definitely not the attitude. However, be careful when you are told that they can do anything. Take it with a pinch of salt.

Ian Stuart dresses are amazing! The quality, design, fit and the way that you feel when wearing one, is incredible. I had the Frangipani in platinum for my wedding day. The registrar who conducted the ceremony told me as I was signing the register, that she has been to hundreds of weddings and that she'd never seen a dress so beautiful as mine. I had to agree! What also made my day was my husbands face as he saw me walking towards him. He said my whole look was stunning and that he loved the dress. If you can afford to splurge on an Ian Stuart dress, I would recommend it. Try others on first just to feel the outrageous difference when you put one of his designs on. The only shame about his dresses is that you only wear them for the day!! from taylorposseforever

I bought my Ian Stuart Marseilles dress here in the U.S. at Kleinfeld in New York. They had many Ian Staurt dresses to choose from and I found my dream dress! The dress is perfect and georgeous. I don't understand how the other brides who rated on here bought Ian Stuart wedding dresses but gave them a low rating...I mean you are the one's who picked it out!

Ian Stuart's customer service needs serious improvement. Dress itself gorgeous but without the back-up of good customer service, not overall good value.

I love my Ian Stuart dress. It was hard to find as there was only 1 shop in the UK had the design and they were in Scotland. I called the team at Ian Stuart who were so helpful and they were able to get this design to my local shop so I could try it on.

I thought there was a lack of actual designs in the shops, I travelled to lots, including shops three hours or more away and they didn't have a good selection. Emailed their customer service and I was told I could attend a designer day up North! They just seemed not interested. I would suggest if you like Ian Stuart Designs please check out other designers, as there are similar out there for a fraction of the price and which are in the shops and good quality also.
