“Avoid until they leave EE”

I tried ASDA again after Sainsburys Mobile and then the Post Office Mobile decided to close down. I used them a few years ago and they were good then. Not today. I believe the reason is their decision to use EE. Signal strength is poor and infuriatingly so when compared to an EE sim right besdide me. Their customer service people, who are very pleasant, are hampered by idiotic EE terms. “SMS service useless”

I ordered a free Asda SIM, and found that although it works when making and receiving calls as well as sending texts to mobiles, for some reason it does not send SMS texts to landlines. I tried to send a text over and over again to a landline number, the credit was deducted, the text sent, but it never reached the landline. “Asda Mobile / EE **stole** my cherished number”

I lost my cherished mobile number (worth over £1,000) as was not told that after 90 days of no OUTGOING calls, the SIM gets suspended. I have made the mistake of trying to transfer my existing mobile number to Asda Mobile. It was supposed to take 2 days. That was 4 days ago and I have just been told that it could be another five days, during which time I basically have no phone. The process that I have started cannot be reversed. Having ordered two sim cards on line ( I don’t normally have a problem with my post), but mysteriously, neither made it through my letter box (if they were ever sent ?)). “Adult content blocking totally OTT”

Asda's content blocker will block 20% of non-adult websites. Their FAQ and blocked content landing page say call 2732 to remove the block.This call costs you 25p but achieves nothing. Instead you are told to take your passport into an Asda store to 'prove' you are over 18. Of course the same store will sell you alcohol so long as you 'look' over 18. The changeover meant I lost my original asda mobile number, although I asked for a PAC well before the deadline. I have written to asda mobile and phoned the call centre several times to get my sim credit back (over GBP50). Last week they said they´d phone me back, which didn´t happen. “Conversion to EE a disaster”

I discovered I had a faulty sim a couple of weeks ago and phoned ASDA. The man I spoke to sent me a new sim and told me to put it in my phone and call ASDA to change my number over. I did this today and spoke to Asda help desk who put me on hold while they went to start the process. Then I was cut off. I phoned again and spoke to another person who eventually told me ASDA had no record of my Original number nor the sim I'd just received from them!
