The Kooky Cake Company Berkshire

I was so nervous because I wanted my wedding to be amazing and wanted everything perfect. I heard good reviews from this place so I tried it out because I loved their designs. There were no issues with the delivery which was great! And OMG it was fantastic.

The Kooky Cake Parlour made our wedding cake a few weeks ago and it was perfect and tasted fabulous! A lot of the guests also commented on how lovely it was.

I would avoid the Kooky Cake Company at all costs (or Kooky Cake Parlour as it is now known). Our wedding cupcakes were very poor quality and totally the wrong colour despite sending them numerous photos showing the exact colours we wanted. Half the cupcakes were meant to be red velvet but they were chocolate and the icing did not look like it had been done by a professional. I actually laughed when I saw them on the day, they were that bad! Also terrible customer service when I tried to discuss this matter with her after the wedding. My husband and I phoned her continually for weeks leaving voicemails but we never received a called back, I wasn't suprised when I read the other bad reviews but just wish I'd done more research before my wedding.

I ordered some cupcakes to be delivered to my best friend as I am currently in Australia and she is in the UK. They were for her birthday on 28th April and being the other side of the world, I was fairly reliant on The Kooky Cake Company delivering them as her present.

There was a hold up with the transfer of money as I was in the countryside, so the payment did not leave my account until 29th, so I could understand some delay on delivery, however, having emailed three times to see what has happened, I have received no correspondence from the company, who still have my money, and no delivery still 4 days later.

I'm very disappointed as these kind of things mean a lot to people when they are the other side of the world and it has now been ruined by this unprofessional company.

We ordered 500 mini logo cupcakes from The Kooky Cake Company for a company event. Kathryn was very responsive, sending over samples promptly. Delivery was also on time and the cakes were delicious! Wonderfully soft, with lovely icing topped with our logo! Everybody couldn't get enough of them, and they proved to be extremely popular at the event.

I highly recommend The Kooky Cake Company to everyone, and will definitely be using them again!

Kathryn came to my house to review what I wanted, and expected, for my wedding cake. She incorporated my ideas and colour scheme wonderfully, and we had many, many compliments on the actual cake decoration, and the cake taste itself. We were thrilled to have found her - not only was she very competetively priced, friendly and efficient, she also brought a huge quantity of cake for us to try, which definitely won us over!

From start to finish Kathryn at the Kooky Cake Company was amazing. She completely understood my idea's and created a wedding cake that was by far, the best wedding cake I have ever seen and tasted. It completely exceeded all my expectations and was unique and perfect in every way.

The design of the cake was beautiful and better than I could ever have imagined. All of our guests commented on the cake and said how stunning it looked. A few people even agreed with me and said it was the loveliest cake they had ever seen.

Taste-wise!! Wow!! So yummy!! We had four tiers, one chocolate, one lemon, and two batternburg style (Husbands fav). I can honestly say all three flavours were equally amazing. My favourite is usually lemon, however the chocolate was to die for and the battenburg was just as nice.

For overall service, the quality of the cake and the very reasonable price, I would have no hesitation in recommending the Kooky Cake Company to anyone.

How can a company let so many people down. I ordered a Birthday Cake for my Partner's 60th surprise party. Ordered and paid for months in advance, delivery date confirmed 2 days before event. I had 130 people turning up but NO CAKE. Kathryn did not answer any of my messages until midnight when she sent an email saying that she did not know why the cake had not been delivered - - I am always one to think that it was accidental so I emailed asking her to provide a birthday cake at the restaurant we were eating at last night, Kathryn promised she would deliver the cake herself - guess what - NO CAKE, No PHONE CALL, NO EMAIL NO CONTACT, SHE WON'T EVEN ANSWER HER PHONE. If you order a cake for any major event from the Kooky Cake Company don't expect to receive it. A little too late, but I have now read other reviews and the number of customers that have been let down is awful, mine was definitely not a one off! - Appalling - Their website says they are quirky and unique - they certainly are,unique, they don't deliver orders!
