Absolutely Terrible

This company started out providing an okay or average service which was local to the Docklands community and was not one of the 'big boys' that we all know and loath. Well it turned out Movello are no better in fact many times worse after messing around with our money and eventually going under. They appear to be in administration as of writing this and so a lot of people now need to get together to make the best of a bad situation!

We'll all be a lot more wary for it - shame on you.. a former resident of the area who had us all thinking he was in it for the long haul for the community!

Solid Honest Company

I've dealt with Movello for some time and their management of my properties has been professional and without any major problems. The Director Angus Edy has always been polite and professional, not words normally associated with Estate Agents> They were ripped off by a German agent over the Olympics and probably many of the bad reviews stem from disenchanted landlords over that deal.

Clearly a review written by Mr Angus Edy himself. I suspect he and his cohorts at Movello are being stalked by disgruntled landlords

Angus Edy is unprofessional and scammer. He has been banned from acting as a director for three years.

They have absconded with many tenants' deposits and rents.

I Have Been Chasing Movello Since June-13 For Retu

I have been chasing Movello since June-13 for returning my deposit and had been in discussions with them about getting it returned till mid-July. However, when it came to crunch time he simply shrugged his shoulders and said he is dependant on another person for initiating the refunds. A week or two later, both of them became unreachable and as I understand they are out of business now (appears so as their offices are locked, they are not registered with the property ombudsman, ARLA etc.). The deposit agency confirms that the deposit is unprotected and that I would have to follow-up with the agent/landlord. I have now had to initiate a court claim against my landlord because of such unprofesional behaviour by Movello.

Took Deposits Out Of Protection Last Year. Has Not

Took deposits out of protection last year. Has not paid landlords.

Currently has no access to movello offices as has been double locked due to Angus not paying rent.

No staff currently working there.

As of Thursday 19 Sept still has not registered insolvent.

I checked and the person I dealt with has liquidated companies a few times and just changed company name slightly.

I am now forced to take legal action against the landlord as he has ignored attempts to email him with regards to deposit.

I now have had 4 attempts to contact you and you have ignored every one.

Including this which I know you have read.

You took my deposit and agreed to hold it safely under UK law.

this was agreed upon in a contract.

I have tried to reclaim my deposit amicably but you have proven no intent to return money.

For this reason I am now pushing forward legally for full damages and also time wasted and as you are not a resident It will be processed against your UK property, charging order. This will impact you been able to rent out the property in future.

Your welcome to come to UK to defend case but thanks to the Essex Properties providing evidence I tried to contact and you ignored its a closed and shut case.

I tried contacting you 3 times via Barrier Point Management company, I have written confirmation that you have ignored all 3 attempts to contact. I have already started legal action, due to you been out of country this has been time consuming. BTW you are liable for 3x the deposit. I fiind it funny you try and contact me now months later, please email me.

Movello Have Done A Runner With Our Money!

Nobody answering the phones, the tenants deposit not paid in, looks like the person I dealt with has done a runner with our rent and also our tenants deposit.

If anybody sees his name involved in any business please keep clear.

We have had many lanlords calling us distraught as they cannot contact Movello, nor have they received their rent for over two months. Unfortunately for them, when a property is managed by an agent, the landlord does not have the contact details for the tenants and because of this, these landlords cannot contact them to tell them to stop paying rent to Movello.

I feel really sorry for these people and we have been trying to help them get in contact with their tenants by physically going to the property, delivering letters, explaining the situation and then helping them with thier property management needs.

Irresponsible And Pathetic Service!

This is the worst agents i have experienced so far. I would not recommend them to anyone. They are in some dodgy practices. They have eaten our entire deposit and no one in the company has a clue where our money is.

They are frauds! I am about to complain the bad practice to the police.

Do Not Use Movello!

Movello were managing my property in the docklands and have failed to transfer rental payments from the tenants into my account. They are now not returning any of my emails or calls. This has been going on for several months and I am owed several thousands of pounds. I am now seeking legal advice.

From other posts I can see that I am not alone in this experience!

Avoid Movello at all cost!, or it will cost you!

Happy With My Apartment

I recently viewed a 2 bedroom apartment with movello and agreed to go ahead with the deal. I come across a few bad reviews which put me off Movello estate agent.

The gentlemen took time out to come meet me and explain that I had nothing to worry about. I decided to take a chance and go ahead with the deal.

im happy to say that, everything was smoothly done and I am happy with the apartment.

overall the service was good and I have had no issues.
