Called roadside service at Stellantis for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee msrp 69000. Needed a tow to the dealer car was dead 2 days after delivery. They told us that no tow companies could accept their tow request and said we should find our tow on our own. If your thinking about purchasing a Stellantis product be aware that you are pretty much on your own.

Absolutely the worst service. Definitely not worth the money.in the case of a tow this is what happens Turns out according to the rep from chrysler they send out a request for the tow to multiple tow companies in their system that are contracted to work with chrysler. They then allow those companies to bid on the job and chrysler then decides if they will pay the amount requested or not. Apparently the software makes the decision as to who your going to get based on availability of the tow company and location you are calling from. Problem is they didn't want to pay the tow company's full bid amount because the software was calling for company's over two hours away from me. Hence why the bill was so high. I suggested I call a local company, get them on conference call the two can work out the payment and it will save chrysler roadside service alot of money and get me towed quickly. Answer: no we don't work that way..has to go through approved companies already working with Chrysler. Told to go through the whole process again on the phone. Unacceptable answer! I got a manager on the phone and spent over an hour while she and I looked up local tow companies that could do the job in the Chrysler network. Found one at third the price of the one the software suggested initially also providing prompt service and in network. Allowing a software program to make decisions of who will come to your rescue and the have them bid on it and then have a representative of your company out of state or out of the country from decide if the bill is too large to pay is absolutely ludicrous! Apparently your software doesnt take in to consideration all the deciding factors two resonable human beings can. What if I were stranded in freezing weather with children in the car. Are you kidding me !!!!! Im supposed to call 911 leave my 75000 truck where ever because your software wont allow human intervention? To top it off hours later they sent a text asking if I even got towed, was I still stranded, did I cancel..they had no clue what I did even though I called and canceled 10 minutes after the long ordeal on the phone. YOU DONT LET A COMPUTER SOFTWARE PROGRAM DETERMINE THESE THINGS WHEN PEOPLE ARE IN JEOPARDY I suggest you allow the customer to call a local company..put them in contact with your reps for payment and end of problem. You know...like how AAA has done it for years!! And if you're too concerned about recoding your software program, and/or changing company policies then at least allow the reps to give an amount you will pay based on where the vehicle is and where its going. There are many ways to resolve these problems if your concerns are customer oriented. None of this is explained in your marketing or sales of this product. If you want to talk about this further you can reach me at [email protected] But don't bother patronizing me with some form letter or apology. If your serious about addressing those problems and have a solution working I'm interested in hearing that.

Overall bad service delay time don’t know what they’re doing call services disorganize they tell you something it’s not true better call the other towing and pay for it then use a free service provide They are choosing dirt dealership not yours where you bought your truck or car then you have to pay extra to bring it to your own dealership where you bought your vehicle the better service with dolphin towing that 24 hours service they provide in Miami Overall, don’t call roadside assistance of Dodge Chrysler you’re gonna get %#&$@

Called and waiting one day, they called me back and said we can't find a tow company, you're gonna have to find you one on your Own, and it costs $150.00 More. Very, Very Poor Service!!

Brand new Jeep driving on the 401 breaks down on a clear summer night. Called in and was told no trucks available and to make my own arrangements. So I called CAA and was told that I could renew my membership for $119 and that they would wave the wait time to get me a tow to a dealer in the town I live. The other option was pay $300+. I renewed membership and a truck was there in 40 minutes. Submitted my claim and just received notice that it will not be paid. If FCA roadside assistance was any good I wouldn’t have needed to renew and getting this with the purchase of my new vehicle is the reason I didn’t renew. They don’t any of their own trucks and are strictly a dispatch system. Poor, poor customer service

Have a 2022 Challenger the has significant computer issues / errors and was told by dealer not to drive. He recommend using the Mopar roadside assistance to get the car to the dealer. After some back and forth on which dealer they would allow, I was forced to use a dealer with known issues (Airpark Dodge) with customer service and would not be able to even look at the car for 8 days. The dealer I preeferd, was literally 0.4 miles further and could start work right away. In order to use that dealer I would have had to pay $190.00! Ended up accepting the longer wait time and asked for the tow to be scheduled. The tow was schedule for 8AM which gave Mopar 18 hours to make the arrangements. 1.5 hours after the promised time had gone by I called Mopar to ask where the tow truck was. Response was I don't know but we will let you know when a driver is assigned. No sorry, no how can we make it right, no loner car for a car with 4000 miles on it and under full warranty! I ended up calling AAA and had a tow truck at my door in 21 minutes. I would NEVER recommend Mopar Roadside Assistance for anything and I am seriously reconsidering our loyalty to Dodge.

One year old jeep Cherokee under complete warranty died and would not start at all. Tried to use the jeep road side service automative system and couldn’t get assigned a place to tow me. Called and could not get anyone who could help they just kept saying they would call back with an update. After hours and calling back several times trying to get answers I was put on endless holds. Thankfully I was with someone who had AAA who responded immediately and actually came to help. So disappointed with this jeep experience and service.

3 phone calls 2.5 hours on the side of a busy highway and 1 supervisor later it was discovered that the system is broke. I called 2 times and was assured service was coming. Automated response stated my provider should have arrived before transferring me to a person. Upon calling a 3rd time I was told my request was incomplete so service was not coming. When I expressed my concerns for others that may be sitting along side the road the only response I received was “You’re road side assistance will be there in 90-120 mins.” This was all after the request had been corrected and I had been sitting for 2.5 hours with no water. They need to fix the system before someone gets hurt.

Terrible customer service. I ended up using my AAA App after 30 minutes on the phone with Chrysler. They claimed I needed to pay $197 to tow it to my preferred dealer which was only 4 miles further. The roadside assistance card in my new car said there is no charge for up to 10 miles further. I stayed on the phone because at first they could not find my file. At the end of being on the phone a full hour, a customer relations peron was thick and not helpful. AAA came within an hour of my request while Chrysler wasted an hour of my time on the phone and wanted me to pay. Chrysler needs better and brighter employees instead of dullards!

New Jeep with only 6,600 miles on it won't start. Battery drains overnight, 2 nights in a row. Tried to get it towed to the dealer where I purchased it. Finally got past the useless robo questions after it could not identify my city and was finally put through to a live person. They took down my information and said someone from a towing company would contact me with the company and driver name (good safety protocol). A half hour later I got a text apologizing for the delay but someone would contact me "soon". After an hour later, I finally called back to Chrysler and was told my case was "escalated to a supervisor" and someone would contact me "soon". Shortly thereafter, I did get a call from a number I did not recognize. I called that number back and spoke with someone who I assume was the "supervisor". She asked me if the vehicle could go into neutral (to identify type of tow vehicle?). When I told her "no it doesn't" she thanked me and said someone would contact me, but again could not give an estimate of when that would happen let alone IF someone will ever show up to tow my car. I do not recommend using Chrysler Roadside Assistance. Go through your insurance company's assistance for quicker more reliable response.

4 hours waiting in 15 degree temps. Text says tow company on the way. I call the tow company and hr later and they have no idea who I am or any record of roadside calling them to get me. They even said I am outside of their coverage area. Called road side assistance and still got no where. Guy on phone says he’ll look into it. Still haven’t heard back. Been another 30 minutes. Called again and the lady answered. Doesn’t know what to tell me. Said she could call the police for me.

Was supposed to be 85 minutes, well it turned into 8 hours!Beyond frustrated, the crappiest customer service available, heck makes me not want to buy a Chrysler again. A dozen phone calls with some really dumb agents not knowing much at all. A couple of them hung up on me or we were cut-off and they didn't bother to call back, amazing! My car stalled at an Auto parts store and they were closing by the time they showed up. Heck I was scared to leave my car to get vandalized. Terrible service, Terrible personnel. 0 stars earned!

Brand new jeep, purchased it 3 months ago, maybe 4. Check engine light is flashing, jeep isn’t running so good. Dealership says not to drive it if it’s flashing. So I called roadside assistance to tow it, they won’t tow it to where I purchased it. The other two dealerships won’t take it because I didn’t purchase it from them. Now I have to $256 to tow it and the. Submit the receipt, lol, sure. Absolutely BS

Worst roadside assistance ever. They sent a tiny Toyota sedan to jump my Wrangler. When he couldn't get my battery going with his jumper cables he said I needed a tow truck. Called back roadside assistance and requested a truck. They sent the same guy. Two hours later I'm on the phone again with roadside assistance. Put on hold, and they never called me back. Even though they confirm my cell number each time. MY husband called AAA, and they got my Jeep started immediately. Yhree hours of my time wasted and no help at all from jeep roadside assistance. Al on my anniversary no less!!

The most inept, incomprehensibly nightmarish service ever. My brand new 2021 truck that i leased broke down and i was in need of a tow. They try to send you tow trucks from companies that don’t even provide towing services. They also try to send your car to service centers that don’t exist. What do these people do as the majority of their job? Do they just google the nearest service center and decide that’s where your car is gonna go without even contacting them first or checking if it’s even a real service center? After an entire two days of experiencing screw up after screw up on their behalf, I explained the situation to a particular representative, who had the nerve to tell me that to finally get my car towed into a service center that was willing to take my car, I’d have to pay $5 for the extra few miles. They absolutely refused to waive the fee as a courtesy, and their solution was to “just pay and try to file for a refund later”. Furthermore, the representatives will do everything in their power to avoid letting you speak to a supervisor. I’m still waiting to hear back from the supervisor for the complaint I filed a week ago. On a side note, how exactly do these dealerships and service centers work? Every local service center wouldn’t take me “without an appointment”. I’m supposed to be Houdini and make an appointment for my car that I’m predicting will break down on that exact date and time? Just a disgusting experience.

My car broke down right as I was getting ready to leave for vacation. I called roadside assistance and was told it would be a 2 hour wait. 2 hours go by and I call the tow company. Their tow truck broke down. I attempt to call roadside assistance back and I’m hung up on twice. Thank god my sister was with me and has AAA.

My Jeep Compass 2020 battery failed (5th time) left me stranded 25 miles out of Grand Junction Co. It’s 108 degree, I am traveling with a dog and two cats - and I’ve been here now for 4.30 hrs. Four calls to the service center (half hour wait each time) and am finally told - even tho I’m 30 min out of Grand Junction, quite a large city with dozens of towing companies and Roadside Assistance - that they sent someone from SALT LAKE CITY. I call the guy and he is very nice, tells me the job was only booked 2 hrs ago (2.5 hrs after I called in) and he still was 80 miles away. Spoke to a supervisor who HAD NO CLUE WHAT SHE WAS ON ABOUT. so sitting here with NO hazard lights as battery totally dead and all failed, on i70 with trucks barreling past doing 120. Animals highly distressed with the heat !!!! .

I recently have the solenoid on my transmission replaced at a Chrysler dealership. The part failed less than three weeks later while I was on a road trip. I called Chrysler roadside assistance to have my truck towed. They would not except that this was a warranty related tow. I was left to my own devices, Stranded on the side of the freeway.. I would not recommend the service to anyone.
