CSMA Car Insurance

Good value.

LV= quote was £100 cheaper for comparable cover than nearest competitor. I then obtained quote from LV= with CSMA membership discount and this saved further £54.

CSMA membership cost £18.

I have been a member for many years but have discovered lately that my "special low premium" for car and house insurance, is way more than if I was not a CSMA member, or if I shop around. They were very competitve when the insurance was Frizzells but LV= take CSMA members for granted and assume you will stay with them, so up go the premiums above the market levels. I don't see any benefit for staying with CSMA or LV.

Were great when they were FRIZZEL, fantastic service.

Now they are Liverpool and Victoria and nowhere near as 'personal' as it once was.

LV have also taken over Brittannia Rescue - watch their high rating tumble.

Too big to care now, sadly.

Me and my wife work for the local civil service so we got CSMA membership. We used them to arrange CSMA Car Insurance as it made sense to use whatever benefits we could to get cheap car insurance. It meant I didn't have to compare car insurance quotes and spend half my life totting up insurance quotes.

We're quite happy with the service from CSMA so we probably won't be moving.
