20", 10", 12", 14". Master Custom 14" X 6.5" Sna

20", 10", 12", 14". Master Custom 14" x 6.5" snare.I really like how this kit projects. The toms are loud and yet can beplayed quietly. This allows me to play with a lot of musical sensitivity.Suitable for a wide variety of music.I play in a dance band so whether it's waltzes or polkas. Rock to pop and blues, it does it all.Fit and finish of the shells are superb as it the Pewter Glass finish andthe heaviiy chromed hardware. I bought the series 900 hardware.Sturdy, smooth adjusting and quiet. The whole band loves this kit, because they can hear the kit very clearly through the mix on stage. I am not mic'd so, this is important. The toms, while having a nice tone with good sustain, has good control so that the resonance doesn't get out of hand and muddies up the mid band frequencies. This allows the kit to remain articulate even at high dynamic levels and the sound gets to the audience really well. I can see their reactions and I feel really good about that.I'm looking forward to playing some jazz with some friends. For thatI will tune the toms up and again, it's really easy to do. The sound is consistently tight and focused up or down. Great stuff. The Pewter Glass finish is really nice to look at on stage. Being a home recording hobbyist for some 33 years, this kit has really delivered on what kind of sound I'm looking for.
