I read about ChooseDVDRental in a recent issue of Web User magazine and, having tried out Lovefilm in the past, was eager to see whether there were any other DVD rental services worth trying.

I found the search tool on ChooseDVDRental to be excellent, and using my input it wittled down 160 different DVD rental packages and found what it believed to be the most suitable package for my needs.

Rather cleverly it works out how many films you'll watch each week, what type of films you like etc. and seems to come up with some quite accurate recommendations.

What makes this particularly useful is that it doesnt just recommend a service eg. Lovefilm, but it actually tells you WHICH package (eg. 2 DVD's at a time) to go with.

I am not a gamer, but they appear to have the same thing for online games rental sites.

The only downside is that there aren't many actual user opinions, which is a pity. Still the professional reviews of each service appear honest and up to date.
