Hire Car, What Hire Car
arranged for hire car at 4.00 a.m. to meet mewcastle flight, happy to pay the extra for out ou hours service, got e-mail confirmation and contract. arrived on time, 3 adults, 2 children, went to designated pick up point, no company rep, no hire car, no curtesy but, no nowt ! rang all the numbers supplied, nothing, asked at airport info "as this company is not on airport site, no info" 6.00 a.m. gave up and got a taxi.
E-mailed the company from majorca next day, same service, i.e. nowt
the review of vehicle is just so i could publish, there was no vehicle !

Rented Off These Guys 10 Times +
I have rented off these guys on and off for the last 5 years, maybe 10 rentals in total. They are cheap in comparison to the other companies and still offer FULL/FULL fuel arrange anent. I use the car to travel from the airport to my house , occasional trips to the supermarket, gym and beach and then return. In a week's holiday I generally need o put 10-20 Euro's of fuel to return the car full (in comparison to a Full/Empty arrangement which would cost 40-60 Euros). The cars are all Kia, Hyuandi type cars (although have had Vauxhall before) so not great, but get me from A to B. If you want a top of the range car with all the gadgets these are not the guys for you (although they do higher class cars, I always get class A or B), if you want a cheap run around then I've had no problems !
Service was better when then were on the airport site, but saying that the new location is probably 5 mins drive away !
More importantly, I have hired from most of the Spanish companies at one time or another, these are definitely no worse than any of the others ! and so much cheaper ! I reckon the fuel arrangement gets me every 4th rental free !!

service was very good only problem it was not full of fuel we returned it not completely full but more fuel than when we had it so was made to pay 5 euros when 2 euros would have filled it .because of this incedent we probably wont use econorent again pity realy maybe better checks on fuel could be made in future

Awful company.
We booked a car with econorent through hirecarsinspain.com. We booked a child seat and website stated free second driver and return car half full.
All lies, Econorent wanted to charge extra for second driver, wanted us to return the car full of petrol and worst of all didn't even offer child seats!
Paid extra for a tatty old child seat from a different car rental company which took ages.
Contacted hirecarsinspain on our return and chased up but only ever was told 'we're looking into it.'
No apology, no refund for paying twice for the child seat.

We Were Provided A Appaling Service Via Carhire 30
We were provided a appaling service via carhire 3000 who continue to use the cheapest and worst car hire company in the WORLD. (And I've driven in a few on Earth).
We lost everything inc car keys overboard the ensuing domino effect ruined our holiday. Auriga Crown hire apparently has a history of not giving any help to there customers. If you give them a credit card you may as well burn it, as they will put any unGreen friendly fuel charge on it they can. Without informing you, they will lie to you. Forget you, have rude attendants (if these are the first spanish people you ever meet it does not give you a very good opinion on spanish lazy carehire firms) no matter how squeaky clean and pleasant you are to them (it wont work), they refuse to communicate, and ignore you even if your banging on the window waiting to pickup your keys. Erhem which were not even booked by carhire 3000 until we arrived at the window in spain. As for there enforced insurance, cancel the transaction immidiatly! Do not give a deposit, or swipe a card.
We were in a queue with others having the same similiar problems. !! If your using carhire 3000 for Spain forget it!
Oh and care hire 3000 will give them a month to forget about you, before they give a response.

An absolute con! They provide you with a useless car and after you arrive home after your holiday they deduct money off your card! They took about £150 off mine, and are completely uncontactable afterwards! YOU WOULD BE AN ABSOLUT MUG TO USE THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!
Any 5 star reviews must have been when the other owners had the company, as these guys (a mother and son) are absolute bandits.

These guys are complete rip offs! Took money off my card 10 days after I arrived home. Reckoned I had damaged the car. Complete liars, and a complete rip off!!

Beware. Make sure you insist on a record of condition of the car as I have been charged £258 for damage that was already present. Would not use them again or recommend them to anyone else.

I Hired A Car From Econorent In July, Picked It Up
I hired a car from Econorent in July, picked it up at the airport, nice car. Dropped it off and put keys in the box as instructed. Two months later, £154 was taken from my bank account by Econorent. After several calls to spain, I was told this was taken as I had scratched the car. After several more phone calls and arguments I was refunded half of my money. Beware!
