Where is Manchester Airport Aviation Viewing Park? How do you find it?

Ive only heard of the place by word of mouth and then the person didnt know how to get there or anybody who'd been there!

I really like the Manchester Airport Aviation viewing park i think it's exellent the toilets are always clean and sometimes there is even police in a car driving around. One problem £2.00 per person £8.00 for the four in my family. You could have all day parking at the pub 8 times for that amount of money. Apart from that it is excellent and i can't wait to go there in he near future

You can view aircraft landing on runways 5L/5R/24L/24R. Depending on the time of day that you visit! There are many different types of aircraft that come and go from Manchester such as charter services( Thomsonfly, FirstChoice, XL,) and scheduled flights (British Airways, BMI, Jet2, Monarch, Emirates, American Airlines, Delta) and also many cargo planes mainly from Japan and China which are usually Boeing 747's.

Great close up views of aircraft, especially when they slow down and pose for photos. Clean loos and also the great burger van. Recommend their gorgeous sausage, chips and curry sauce! Lack of seats and shelter. My partner especially finds it hard to walk and stand for hours when we go to the park and when it's very hot, cold or rain there is no shelter of any sort. We don't own a car so bringing our own seats is out of the question.

I hear there are plans a foot to provide a nice cover for Concorde but what about the thousands who come to see her and the other planes? I hope the price doesn't shoot up when the (hopefully not overpriced) restaurant and cover are built.

Otherwise we may not be able to come any more and would be devastated.
