It is not a safe place. There is a guy that sublets illegally his house. He put an ad and I reported and explained the situation. The girl staff said " "We can not and will not get involved with this dispute, As it has nothing to do with the advert, as already stated unless we are contacted by Police, trading standards or the owner of the property we have no reason to remove the advert based on the information you have provided". She didn't ever bothered in asking a proof of property. It was unprofessional and unsafe place. I wouldn't trust in and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody". Of course, I am not going to go to the police. It is a long and hard process. Just to let them know. Furthermore, I sent them a link where they could check that the advertiser is a problematic guy with too many convistions with the justice. Despite of that, they didn't worry about that. The same guy advertised before on Spare room and when I reported him then the moderators asked him to the guy for any proof of the property. When he couldn't provide it, then this ad was no live as it is no safe. In Friday ad they don't do that. I deactivated my account

DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS WEBSITE. Friday ad was aware that I was in contact with a potential criminal and they did not bother to inform me! As a result, I lost a lot of money. Then, they said they have removed and banned the user which was a complete lie because the user was advertising something else on their website!! It's an absolute disgrace!

I in on the seach for a particular vehicle, there appears to be lot listed, but at lower than expected prices ans without telephone contact numbers only emails which you can't see. I have also had identical replies from two 'seperate' sellers and vehicles . . . Ummm! Beware when using this site to find what youre after - especially when its cheaper than you would expect. Don't be handing over money before speaking and checking the goods and the 'seller'.

Friday Ad changed their page layout recently and I find it awful. I think its what is referred to as optimised for tablets and its rubbish. Does not work well and a lot of the functionality I used to use it for does not seem to work. For example the ways I have searched using multiple words no longer work and bring up results with every word. Gumtree has for the first time taken over as my preferred choice. And the ap was so bad I deleted it.

I have had many responses to a Variety of adverts. Waste of time. Have removed all my adverts now. Gumtree and Preloved seem to stop this happening on their sites. It is no good having a site that is easy to use, when the security of replies is so low.

I received no response. Could not find ad amongst loads of homes for sale. Could not access any views or responses as my password would not allow it and I was unable to reset my password. The printed,Ad said Fridge Freezer and not fridge freezer housing.Gillian Thomas

I would never bother with this again I wonder how many people know free adds are on line now and how successful it is

The Friday Ad site after all these years remains the slowest classified site of all. It is so agonisingly slow, and freezes up so often, that patience soon runs out to continue. It has always been like this and has very sadly shown no improvement. Placing adverts is as frustrating as viewing. It tries to configure your advert instead of letting you just write your own considered and suitable words and it does its re-configuring very badly. The resulting advert is an embarrassing mess which seems virtually impossible to correct and make presentable. Other sites I use do not have any of these problems and it is a shame for the fabulous profile and distribution of the Friday-Ad that this important element lets itself down so severely. I wonder if the problem is that the application is trying to be too clever - maybe remove some of the intended cleverness would help. Sigh.

Bought a vehicle of Friday ad but was scammed for £2900 and still no vehicle reported it to Friday ad and police but they are still advertising it on there sister site caravan Selecta so not impressed

the ad was made useless because somehow too managed to put in the wrong phone number and only the basic ad was shown no description of the goods for sale at all. needless to say I wont use Friday again or even call at the news agents for an issue

Nearly got caught up in scam for my item for sale, supposed buyer wanted money up front to be sent to a shipping agent in Nigeria,Friday ad not to blame but others be careful.

i have contacted customer services several times concerning an issue which i asked for help with.... as i have over 21 items for sale AND I receive e-mails from your web-site concerning renewing/re-posting them....... I have requested instructions and information concerning how to renew/re-post all of the ads at the same time?.... I have gone to 'manage my ads' and 'selected all', however, there is not a link whereby i can re-post/renew my ads without adding the 'flashing'/'blinking' extras which I do NOT want added!... All I want is to be able to 'select' all of my ads (which I have done)and to click on a click whereby they are all renewed/re-posted.......?... I think that my requests have been fairly easily explained, however, the information which I received in the replies gave no indication as to how I can achieve this!!!!!!

they say FREE ads , you keep going to put your ad and in the end, it is 2,99, seriuosly?.... it was actually a complety waste of time. dont waste your time with this company. they only worried to take your data and more number on visits rates.
