Customer service non existent expensive and unreliable . Broadband has been down last week tried ringing between the specified hours stated ( 9-5 mon friday) but know one is answering the phone even sent numerous emails to no avail no reply . Titan need to get there act together if they want to be a serious competitor need to employ more staff. Going to pay the remainder few months owed and switch provider to a more established reliable more competent company which titan certainly is not.

Poor service, expensive ,not getting speed as advertised and impossible to speak to an advisor either by email which they don't reply to your query or 0844 phone number which they don't even bother answering just get the same automated parp "all our advisors are busy " message ,i'm sure at the very least they could do is employ someone 24/7 just to answer the phone who has some knowledge of dealing with queries and technical problems ,although they do advertise times on their website when you can phone between the hours of 10:00-17:00 Mon -Friday (Saturday Sunday Closed) so basically you have had it if your internet is down on a weekend . £35 month for unlimited 45 GB Internet lucky if i'm getting 7GB ,not good enough

I asked titan to connect me and was originally able to contact them by phone and email but after promising me callbacks on a few occasions then not calling me back, promising to have me connected by a certain date then not getting me connected- again with no call or email to say what was happening etc weeks later they dropped off the radar completely. When I try to call there's always a message saying they're busy and no replies to my emails. I reported them to offcom and will be filing a complaint with the ombudsman.

I was thinking about joining Titan ADSL from o2 Sky tried all last week to contact them during their so called opening hours 10:00 -16:00 same automated message "All our advisors are busy try again later " than the phone goes dead ,i don't know how they get any business with such dreadfully poor customer(less) service sales i have decided not to switch providers to these amateurs .

I think an awful lot of the positive comments on here sound slightly sales pitch "Can't believe Titan is so fantastic changed my life spiel ."
Try calling them Mon-Fri 10-4pm only you can never get in contact with anyone their website does not even have live chat .
Wonder how many sales adviser operators they have working for them certainly not enough to answer the phone .

Supplied my MAC to Titan a few weeks ago - nothing's happened. Emailed Titan a week or so ago, and the blame was placed at BT's door - quite feasible. However, to date, still nothing. No updates, no communication, no courtesy, no indication they are serious. Emailed today and yet to receive a response. Phoned, and like another reviewer, received the irritating 'all our operators are busy - please try again later'. Unbelievably unprofessional. Titan have largely positive reviews, but they count for nothing when you can't even get to talk with them about why, in over a month, there has been no movement in my migration to them. Why is it nobody in the broadband game can get the basics right?

TRIES TO TAKE MONEY AND COMES WITH THE CRACK ITS YOUR NEW PROVIDER WANTING MONEY FOR A SERVICE YOU DONT HAVE STAY WELL CLEAR OF THESE MUPPETS AVOID AT ALL COSTS ..

Do not use Titan adsl. They take different amounts out of your bank without informing you. I swapped to a another provider 2 months ago and they have just taken 60.00 from my bank. When you ring them you NEVER get a answer. I am in dispute with them now about the above money. They have tried to put the blame on my new provider which is total rubbish. I am now putting the matter in the hands of my solicitor and trading standards. Please heed this warning and dont have anything to do with titan.

I made an account just to give a review for Titan. This is the worst company I've ever been with. I joined them a couple months ago when they were ranked higher and had better reviews but now I side the people who rated them poorly. They were unable to provide me with the accurate dates for the line installation. For the first date they gave we had our landlord sit in (while we were at work) and nobody showed up. They apologised and told us that BT had changed their date but didn't bother telling us about it. They gave us a new date and our landlord no longer wanted to sit in for us so we had to take a day off work for it. I rang many times during the week to confirm with them and they said they were sure it was going to be the correct day. They also assured us this was their top priority (to make sure it was correct given their first blunder). So when we were just about to leave the day before the installation date, the engineer showed up. We couldn't swap the date because it was so last minute so we had to take two days off because they gave us the wrong date. I rang and they apologised telling me their supervisor will be dealing with my complaint personally. No word from them for weeks, I ring to check up on the situation and was told the man in charge is on holiday and to ring back later. They promised me a month's free credit but after months of pursuing this I'm still being charged and they're still "trying to sort it out". Do not go to this place, you cannot trust a word they say. I would say for the speed you are getting you are getting your money's worth but I'm giving a low score for the horrible service I am getting.

If you want to keep your sanity as well as your money DON'T sign up with Titan. First week went smoothly from then on downhill. Connection very very slow. Apparently BT's fault. Pretend that you get static IP, haven't noticed any of that!! You can't contact them on the phone after 5pm and weekends!! Explain something to you on the phone then do the opposite!!!! My advice: Do proper research. Read all reviews. Ask as many questions as possible. Where possible sign up for 3 months contract to test the ISP first.

Was a customer until recently. One day without warning internet stopped working. Was given the run around for over 2 months being told that it was BT's fault cause phone line was disconnected and also being told that BT were in the process of fixing it. Even had appointments booked for BT engineers to come out which never happened. Finally got a refund but what was even stranger was that refund was via pay pal only. After I did some googling finally found out titan had been dissolved which made allot of sense. http://companycheck.co.uk/company/06326424 Also read reviews http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/unhappiness/3863581-titan-adsl-totally-at-a-loss-what-on-earth-is-going-on.html?fpart=all&vc=1 Hopefully they are not still signing people up because their website is still up and running

After reading the reviews here, I placed my order 28 July 2010, as at 6 August 2010 I was advised that it would not be available until 16 August 2010. This was on a "clean" BT line (working, with no prior broadband). Titan provided no updates at any point, had to be chased continuously and made numerous promises which didn't eventuate. Throughout the process I received a never ending series of excuses and reasons as to why it could not be done earlier, but basically it boiled down to them waiting a week to submit the order and then blaming everyone else for the installation time taking twice as long as they promised. Overall, highly unimpressed with these guys - they wasted a considerable amount of time and as a direct result of their actions I have been stuck completely unnecessarily without any internet for weeks.

was an excellent service at first but then speeds started fluctuating, I'm now getting random disconnects and my SMTP stopped working. I've been trying to get hold of someone at support for 6 months but emails are ignored and you just can't reach them by phone. avoid. i'm leaving.

Initially, Titan ADSL provided an excellent service. The support staff responded quickly, really knew their stuff and were happy to give thorough, detailled, and technically accurate information.
Unfortunately, I had to contact them several times after they changed their wholesale provider from Entanet to Vispa in Feb 2010. We were migrated earlier than advised (so had a day of downtime), then a "billing error" resulted in us being cut off again. Paying the bill (which we hadn't been sent, and in any case should have been paid automatically) did not re-connect us and we had another day without network access.
Also, our speeds dropped from 7.5Mb/s to 3.5Mb/s and ping times increased from 18ms to 39ms. I complained several times, but got very short email responses - the first was "give it a couple of weeks and it will sort itself out", the second was "I'll see if I can do something". I never heard any more.
Finally I asked for my MAC key. Then I asked again. It was impossible to get throught by phone as calling at any time resulted in the message "All our operators are busy. Please call later." It seems that their call centre has been closed.
Titan are obliged to provide a MAC key within 5 working days, but I had to get Ofcom involved. They didn't even reply to Ofcom! Eventually after more calls to Ofcom, I got a call and email.
The slow speeds, lack of service, refusal to abide by industry standards and the fact that you can't call them and they don't reply to emails mean that I could not recommend Titan to anyone.

since joining Titan, I can not log on to facebook. I called Titan and they said it had something to do with my computer settings, but when i log on to facebook at home there is no problem at all and I am using the same laptop. Titan were unhelpful and i will try to cancel my account.

Appaling.
They give you a phone number, which I've tried to call dozens of times, and they NEVER EVER answer it.
The only way you can contact them is by email, but they don't respond to email either! I chased them for 2 weeks, trying to figure out what happened with the transfer of my service to my new address, and tried to call and email them daily, and NEVER got any response.
Finally, I just cancelled the ongoing payments.

Here's the problem with Titan adsl - You just can't get hold of them at anything representing a sensible time for a home user who is holding down a full time job at an office. No phone support at the weekend or in the evenings, and not even email support a lot of the time. Internet went down on a Friday afternoon. Phone tech support was an automated message that just said call back later. In fact over a number of days that followed, this is the only response i got by phoning them at any time - automated, useless messages. On one morning alone i tried over 20 times (yes, I kept count, no i'm not exaggerating) The only way I got a response was by emailing them and threatening to change my ISP. Finally they phoned me back, and promised someone would phone me that evening to do some tests etc. Guess what... nobody phoned. I'm searching for a new ISP as I type.

Tried switching to Titan from TalkTalk(was Tiscali) when TalkTalk started to charge me £17.99 a month for just Broadband as I could not take their phone calls package as I was contracted to BT.... Titan happily setup my account and debited the connection free £40 and after providing them with a MAC code they did not manage to transfer the service. After a number of e-mails and phone calls (never got past the answer phone) and still no servce Titan had the cheek to send me a bill for the next months service. As I had not yet received any service from them for the £40 transfer fee I certainly was not going to give them any more so I cancelled the direct debit and raised a claim with PayPal. On the plus side this was resolved very quickly and my £40 credited, though still n o contact with Titan.
Is there any reasonable nroadband providers out there as all the reviews I read are negative and my first experience of changing seem to indicvate the comments are acurate.

TitanADSL has switched its customers from Entanet to Vispa recently. Bad or good reviews from 2009 or before are not completely relevant anymore.
This switch has been an awful experience for us. Titan migrated us forcefully even though we asked for a Mac code well before the switch. We never had issue with Entanet but the Vispa network is much slower for us. Customer support was awful during this move and they take ages to answer emails (when they bother to answer). We cannot wait to go back to Entanet.

Migrated over to Titan because of an offer i received from them in Nov 09. In Dec the migration went ahead as planned and they responded to my emails. Since my migration i have never dealt with a WORST company ever. They have robbed me of money, they have ignored every single email i have sent them, the speed is awful compared to what i had before. They constantly leave answerphone messages stating they have phone problems so you cannot speak to them, and they ignore you if they cannot fix the faults, i really do mean ignore you. Tuley awful company, yes they may have been good but BE WARNED, they will pull you in then spit you out just as quick. Can you believe it after one month i am already looking to migrate, why else would i be here...........JOKERS, why do i have to leave a one star for customer service, it's non-existant!!!

This company is totel Guff why most of the people are giving it good reviews is mad, I ordered titan and waited a few weeks on getting my router. after 2 weeks i cheaked my emails on a friends computer and relised titan dont provide a router thay want you to change the setting on a router you already have and the router i had was not able to change the settings thay wanted to change so i got a £90 router and changed all the settings. After that it was always dropping out and i had to keep turning power off/on to router. When i tried to get help all i got was an automated message saying we are closed due to tecnical problems and i got the same message for a month. Now with O2 and much happier no drop outs yet after a week off haven it. Hope this review helps people stay clear of these clowns.

As per the previous commenter I ordered Unlimited Broadband from Titan on 11/11/09 and to date have neither broadband nor managed to get any reasonable response from them.
Their telephone system is updated daily to inform you that they are having issues and it will be "Back Tomorrow" but for the last month. The emails you send them are either never responded to or again you get a response stating they are looking into it and will get back to you the next day but never do.
I so far paid the initial connection fee and they have taken TWO months subscription from my PayPal account with nothing to show for it. I will be contacting PayPal to inform them of this issue and see what can be done.
To me it would appear they are potentially having financial issues and will soon be folding with this type of response.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I posted the same text as above on their facebook wall earlier today but within minutes they had deleted the text and blocked me so I can't post it again or message them on facebook. They really don't want to talk to me..
