Passed CBT, mod 1 and mod 2 all first time thanks to NLMT instructors. They do a great job, patient, helpful and positive - deserve a pay rise! Tea/coffee and you-tube vids were fine as a warm up for the day. Bikes & kit were a bit old and beaten up after years of abuse from learners, generally ok but could do with some investment. One minor. Mod 1 practice in car-park was fine - much harder than on the test circuit, which helped. Just don't touch the cones! Mod 2 practice was much more enjoyable - experienced instructors giving invaluable advice on how to pass, do and don'ts, hints & tips etc gained from years and years of riding. Office people super friendly and helpful - cannot fault. Overall verdict: Although there is some room to improve on bikes/kit, I'm a happy customer and would recommend them. The people were great and I enjoyed their company and the experience. Thanks again!

I had done my CBT elsewhere. On my first morning with NLMT I watched the instructors teaching CBT and I realised that my previous training was sub-standard and that NLMT was a thorough outfit. I trained for five days. I booked my mod one and two on same day. Very, very good instruction and preparation for both. I passed the mod one without a problem but failed mod 2. I was pretty nervous and the guys had taught me everything I needed to know. Rebooked mod 2 and passed. I highly recommend. Why not 5 stars? My training bike was a bit knackered. But they are probably in a similar state in most training centres. She is very helpful with booking. I was taught by Pedro and Ricky - very enthusiastic and patient. Very safety conscious. DAS training is not cheap anywhere, but I feel I had great value for money. I have recommended to friends.

Did my CBT and 5 day DAS with these guys over a period of 2 years, it took me a few goes to pass my mod2 but got there on the 3rd attempt. I found the instructors were thorough and got me to a standard that meant i was able to pass my mod1 with no faults and my mod2 with only 2 faults. My main instructor was good at breaking down bad habits then building up my confidence again. This served me well as i had a really long break between the CBT, DAS and my test. The instructors all had a sense of pride in getting you through the test, they were as excited about my results as i was each time. Looking fwd to getting my first set of wheels now! - Cheers!

These guys managed to get me a full motorcycle license in 6 days. I have never even sat on a motorcycle before I started my training, all I was armed with was some decent cycling skills. Day 1 was my CBT, 4 learners per 1 instructor. Day 2, 3 ,4 was mod 1 and mod2 practice on Kawasaki ER-6N(awesome 650cc bike). This is quite a personalized experience since there is 1 instructor for every 2 learners, instructions given through radio contact while on the road, which is good preparation for Mod 2 examining conditions. My instructor's training style is quite aggressive, prepare to be shouted at when committing mistakes. I often felt the urge to shout back at him but the fact it that he wants you to pass and he will eventually bring you up to a level exceeding that of what is expected of you when doing your practical test. Day 4 was 3 hours riding followed by Mod 1 test(easy to pass, easy to fail). The cool part about this day was that we got to ride around Uxbridge(where the test center was) and I managed to get familiarized with the streets layout which came very handy during my Mod 2 test. Day 5 was about 3 hours riding followed by Mod 2 test. By now I was quite used to the idea of somebody following me around on their motorcycle and observing my every move so I remembered my training and managed to pass! Kudos to the lovely lady at reception, she managed to fit my training in my awkward schedule and she was helpful all the way.

I tried to gain my bike test last year, passed mod 1 first time and failed mod 2- that sickened me but before the cbt/theory 2 year window ran out i was determined to pass. I contacted North London MT and they were very helpful - no oh you will need 5 days of training etc, just a realistic well how about 1 day training and then the test next day. They have lots of test slots which is key and the centres are nearby. The bikes are in good condition and the instructors (Leo and Ian) i dealt with were definitely enthused about their jobs. Also the retest cost was low even though i hadnt done my previous trainign with them. I passed my test and am very happy, Rohan

I have just completed a four day DAS course with North London Motorcycle Training and passed both my Module 1 and Module 2 first time. I found the centre well organised and instructors very good. They work you quite hard during the training days but they put me in a good position to confidently pass both of my tests, first time. The equipment provided is also to a very good standard. Whilst learning to ride a big bike is not cheap, it was worthwhile and I would not hesitate to recommend NLMT. My only comment would be that I was recommended a 5 day course by the centre and as I passed in 4 days I am pleased I didnt spend the extra money on a 5 day course. My advice would be, if you ride a scooter at the moment, 4 days will be fine Thanks guys! Russell Collins

I really found this to be a valuable experience. The instructors were enthusiastic, approachable, knowledgable and helpful.
It was definitely not an attend and pass course and rightly so.
I will attend further training here when I have a little more experience andvwhen time permits. I'm not sure if I could given a highervrecommendation than this.

All round professional service, with plenty of experienced instructors at hand. Reliable and very competent when arranging test dates, unlike some other schools I have unfortunately had to experience. For those who will have to resit tests this should be a significant consideration.
My 5 day DAS course involved three different instructors, this wasn't a problem for me as you get different perspectives and tips. I guess there are ads and disads to this arrangement though, as different teaching styles and methods could potentially lead to an element of confusion.
So thanks to Debbie, Pedro, Andre, Rikki and Joe for seeing me through.

NLMT is a well established school offering a great service , all the staff i met are very friendly and answered my question accurately.constructive feedback is given throughout the course.
the clothing provided was good , the bikes are excellent as i got to ride a brand new er-6,which was a lovely experience.
i have done a 3 day das course and i passed the first time for both modules
NLMT is certainly good value for money and i would recommend it to everyone

I had a free assessment where a 4 day was recommended as the course. They mentioned 3 is the minimum but 4 is more feasible. I was quickly told feedback as to what I was doing wrong, which was positive given i had been riding on a cbt for a year and picked up some bad habits, had some time to start correcting them for test purposes.
Training for Module 1 and 2 was good. I passed Module 1 first time no minors. Module 2 training occurred to and fro module 1 test sites.
unfortunately I failed Module 2 twice though via no real fault of the riding school. the first was for a bad judgement on a roundabout, the 2nd was for undue hesitation though the fact the DSA emaminer had NO clue of the area or where he was going really didnt help either).
the only downsides I saw were that you wont necessarily get the same instructor for all the course days. this is a double edged sword in the sense that you get different people assessing you, but then again some instructors have different preferences to others regarding dealing with certain traffic situations, in a similar way no 2 examiners are likely to mark you the same.
I was generally pleased, the bikes were in good condition and all the instructors were friendly and firm. I would definitely recommend them as an option to learners.
