HairDo by Jessica Simpson Layered Extension

In regard to Jessica Simpson hair extensions :

I purchased the synthetic hair extension from a salon (not cheap) , I was extreemly careful with it and was only able to wear it two times ..two times. By then the ends were so tangled and narly it was unusable. I followed the care instructions to the letter. Then I decided to try her real human hair extensions, again, not cheap, upwards of $300 plus.

I can guarentee you that it was NOT real hair. It lasted for only 5 uses/wearings. I followed instructions on how to wash and condition to the letter, but all the bounce / curl was gone and I was left with truly ugly and fake looking extensions that cost a small fortune. Be careful what you buy ladies , her extensions are poor quality.

I decided to have a colour change on my own personal colour so decided to adapt my jessica human hair extensions to suit.The colour was added and conditioned afterwards as directed. The whole hair piece completely matted!!!!! I purchased three anti tangling products/ used silicone based shampoo and conditioner and did not work. £300 down the pan....I have other human hair extension pieces that i coloured using the same method and dried and was able to style wonderfully.....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! DO NOT COLOUR THIS HAIR PIECE!!!!

I have the 21" human hair weft. It is one big piece which is nice. I ordered the lightest color (it says jessica wears the 3rd lightest) when I got them they were no where near my color, way too dark. Aftr a few wears they became very knotty and tangled. Deffinately not worth my $250!!

I have read previous reviews of this product before buying it - the majority stating that although the extensions looked good once or twice, after a few wears they go extremely tattty.In complete honesty, I have NOT found this AT ALL, with my product (Ginger Brown, straight 22 inch hair extensions). The hair piece is extremely easy to put in and I recieve compliments on it all the time. It is indistinguishable for my own natural hair. I do not brush or wash my extensions, and wear them almost every day. They are still in excellent condition. I thoroughly recommend them.

I purchased the Jessica Simpson 23" wavy extensions, I got the midnight brown colour as my hair is a shade off black, and the colour matched perfectly! I highly recommend this product to people with one tone coloured hair (such as black or blonde) as if yout hair has several you WILL find it will NOT match as perfectly and perhaps cause dissappointment.

The product is made with synthetic hair and I'm suprised at how people are finding the condition a dissappointment when the hair isn't real. Yes after each wear the piece tangles more and more but I resolved this issue with mine by doing the following:

*I put the hair piece under the tap and wet it, making sure I squeezed all excess water out.

*Brushing it, which took a while! Taking my time and if you do this yourself don't be alarmed if your hairbrush takes a lot of hair with it as mine did. I did this untill all tangles are gone.

*Then I used slide grips, pinning up each curl securing it untill all hair has been safely done so.

*Then I hung it up to dry!

*Once it has dried I took all the grips out, which leaves the hair to drop into curls just the same as when it was bought.

If you do this yourself don't forget, to hair spray it so it stops from frizzing!

I found I had up to 8 successful wearings of this product which is pretty good considering I only paid £40. I wore this each weekend for two months, so I find that pretty good value for money!

Paid around £70 for HairDo by Jessica Simpson Layered Extensions. Wore them twice. They looked great initially, then they got tangled and developed what looked like split ends. I tried washing, letting them dry naturally and using the recommended de-tangler but to no avail.

If you have enough money to throw this out after one wear, then fine, otherwise, this is by far, the worst value for money

i got the 22 inch jessica simpson synthetic extension it looks fantastic in and even a idiot like me can get it in without anyhelp unlike all the other extensions i have used , altho the colour match was slightly off but that is due to my hair been dyed and i have red tones still in from the die , the only bad point is they tangle real bad and i don't think it will last very long before it starts to look tatty so my advice would be great for a night out but no so great to wear all the time , if you want to wear it all the time i would advice going for the human hair one from jessica , which is the one i will be buying when this one does become tatty

When i first bought my jessica simpson 23" straight - i loved it, instantly long thick and glossy. I wore them one day for about 2 hours while at a restaurant and felt amazing, but the next day when i clipped them in they began to matt and looked a bit dry, the ends were frizzy by the 2nd wear, and they were badly tangled, no matter how much i combed them they just re-tangled, it was terrible. ive worn all types of hair extensions and these were the worst ive ever bought, i was horrified at the amount i spent on them. would not recommend!

HairDo by Jessica Simpson Layered Extension - I bought Hair Do 23inch wavy hair extensions in Chocolate Copper from a salon shop on eBay ( £36). At the time my hair was only half that length and wore the extensions to two weddings. Even though I had seen several of my friends for the hen do only a matter of weeks before, people didn't even realise it was extensions until I told them, they were really impressed. I got lots of compliments.It is a great product for me, because I wouldn't spend a fortune on real hair, I also wouldn't have the patience of clipping in several pieces to get the same look.I would definitely buy again and recommend to others. I am now looking at the chignon they do.

I bought HairDo by Jessica Simpson Layered Extension, thinking they would be good. I wanted to try something new. I usually buy the Euro-Next hair extensions. Which I highly recommend to you, they are made of real human hair and wayyyyy cheaper than HairDo. I had my hair do 23 inch straight cap for 3 days and during those three days, I followed the instructions and by the third day they were totally full of split ends and the bottoms were extremely frizzed out. It looked terrible. I thought it was a total waste of money, and they are non-refundable. I had to go through so much just to receive store credit for my return on this product....Its a total disappointment.
