Content Is Excellent. I Removed A Star For Constant Emails
I get they make their living through direct mail and email, but I already signed up, so stop already. I have used their recommendations, some not all, and have made a boat load. I love the daily commentary. He was pretty amazing at his insight. The other daily writer, was exceptionally entertaining and damn accurate. Both seemed well versed in the market (not just writers) and both made me money on their free advice. He hammered the table on buying municipal bonds. He made such a strong effective case that when she called for massive defaults and the marked dropped a ton, he did the math and showed what an opportunity it was. I've been sitting on high-yielding, high quality bonds ever since. Remember, this is the free service that I used. Even if I signed up for the premium $4k VIP service, I would have been dollars ahead. I stayed at the lower level and was completely satisfied. This would be 5 Stars, but i took one off for the annoying and constant prom-emails.
Can't Get Through To Them
I can't log in the website. when clicking log in, it just comes back with a 404 not found message. Left message on their answer machine at 2:30. PM they said they were closed. e-mail is a no go. phone a no go. I am a lifetime subscriber, so I can't be locked out for non payment. This seems to spell DOOM!
TAIPAN CHANGED THEIR NAME TO CONTRARIAN PROFITS A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. I AM A VIP INNER CIRCLE MEMBER AND LOCATED THEM ON STOCK GUMSHOE WHO IS ALWAYS IN THE KNOW.

I signed on as a Safe Haven subscriber but they constantly sent me e-mails to upgrade to Millionaire Circle for $4000, which I did.
Beware of their profit claims... I have bought on their recommendations and have lost money. For the record, 80% of their recommendations have lost me money. Adding insult to injury, they will charge you 10% ($400) if you cancel within 30 days just to try out their service!
I wish I could believe their claims to be true....Won't do this again.
i have been trying to get a refund before the 30 day trial peroid but it wont go through to any emails. where do i send request for refund to Justicelittle of Tiapan

As A Subscriber To Their Wavestrength Options Week
as a subscriber to their wavestrength options weekly I have been under water for some time and currently have 7 positions all of which are in the red. I realize this is a difficult market it is all but a test for those like Adam Lass and the like who are failing miserably. I would not recommend and would caution as they like many others tout their victories which are subject to scrutiny while failing to disclose their defeats especially within the confines of their advertisements.

When You Enroll Into A $49/yr Entry Level Subscrip
When you enroll into a $49/yr entry level subscription, beside some daily financial news/comments you are in a maze of promotions/ads to "upgrade" in to many others VIP/inner circle...memberships which would cost you up to almost $4,000! There are lots of promises about POTENTIAL making 1000% of return on your investments! (too good to be true!).(Proofs: If they can make that much money they would not have time or bother to sell news letter subscription. I have attended many stock trading seminars: when I asked them to give a guarantee return of 10% ( so they can keep the rest!) but no one will accept my offer!)
Here is my experience with ALL stock news letters suggestions/recommendations:
They are just guessing! Since there are too many factors that nobody knows: politics, laws, economy, product life/preferences, new technologies/discoveries, culture, wars, illegal/unethical activities....that would effect stock pricing. After more than a quarter of century in stock market I am in total agreement with Warren Buffett statement: the only thing I know for sure about stock prices is that they will go up one day and go down the next day!
I'm in total agreement with the author of this article. Stopped after the inital investment. Its all a big advertising scheme to get one to spend more and more money, before one ever sees the fruit of their initial investment. Information is constantly being repeated and repackaged. Nnot for the intelligent investor. It is definitely a Buyer Beware kind of operation they have going.

Taipan Scam Alert! I Tried These Turkeys And
Taipan Scam alert!
I tried these turkeys and have done nothing but lose money. I'm talking tens of thousands. They change the names of their publications frequently so no one catches on that about 90% of their recommendations are losers. Once in while they get one right and tout it till the cows come home. They say you could make a million on some trade. They say their goal is to make a thousand new members millionaires by August 2010, and than a few months later say their goal is to make a thousand new members millionaires by December 2010. On it goes. Could this, might that. Nothing ever pays off. . . All you do is lose.
They are associated with the Oxford Club and INternational Living.
I was a lifetime subscriber to taipan and also subscribed to Brians?
biotech newsletter.
I found this review very helpful because...I have been bewildered by all the changes in the names of the one service I subscribed to--Breakaway Investor to American Wealth Underground to Death Cross Trader to Velocity Trader. I figured the newsletter must not be doing very well, but I am a patient person. (You might also call me a dumbbell.) This newsletter business must be really lucrative, and I hope I have learned to demand better performance in the future.

I Have Used Their Services Even Before The Website
I have used their services even before the website are used to send news and alerts and was well pleased, but now I joined again a year ago to get to familiar to start trading in several months. I joined as a member of the Taipan VIP Inner Circle for life with a modest fee of #3,900.
The Oxford Club publications were gone a long time ago, I think. I missed that. Otherwise I have not really used it yet.
