Good Tyres All Around. Though I Never Used Them In

Good tyres all around. Though I never used them in winter conditions.I feel that they have some road noise and hardish ride on bumps.Tyre wear is even and good. Road holding is ok.

Be careful when trying to replace these tyres !

The replacements 'Latitude' need to be fitted in 4s, ie. all at once.

I was told by tyre dealer that these replace Synchrone - not strictly true

If you only replace front (or back)it is unbelievable - like something wrong with car - from 15 mph upwards 'throbbing vibration and accompanying noise. Hard to understand this is all because of slightly different tyres

Liased with both Michelin and a LandRover employee (ex) who both advised fitting full set and problems would disappear. Otherwise the transmission could/would be damaged as well as the tyres !

So bit the bullet and bought 2 more Latitudes and hey presto there we are - perfect car again

Now have 2 really good Synchrones (slightly worn if anyone wants them !)

Just e-mail '[email protected]' and you can have them for a song - new Latitude are around the £100 mark each so these may save you a small fortune if like me you only needed 2 tyres. Oxfordshire based but could send. Happy motoring

Have Owned 54 Freelander Td4 From New And Just Rep

Have owned 54 Freelander TD4 from new and just replaced front tyres at 62,000 miles. Rear tyres appear to have another 10,000 miles in them. Never experienced such high mileage from any vehicle/tyre before.

We Have Now Done 65k Miles Since Our 2003 Td4 Free

We have now done 65k miles since our 2003 TD4 Freelander was bought new, and are still on the original tyres. Fronts are approaching replacement- but rears look good for maybe 5k more. Amazing!

I Have Had Michelin Synchrones On My Freelander Fr

I have had Michelin Synchrones on my Freelander from new (3 yrs old at the end of September 2008) and they have covered 55,000 miles. Still legal but need replacing now. Never a problem and tread wear has been even.
