Huntleys, Samlesbury

Very pleasant surroundings, pleasant courteous staff, very relaxed atmosphere. We have been there several times, on always found it to be the same pleasant experience weather we have had a coffee or a full meal.

On my first visit to Huntleys in Samlesbury I had Button mushrooms pan cooked with smoked bacon for starter very tasty and good quality both my main meal & my partners main meal was a little disappointing in taste & size. My partner had Pork fillet rolled in chopped herbs and the pork content although good quality was so small & poor value I mentioned so to the staff. The response was to deduct the cost of the main meal (£12.95) from my bill which I considered very honourable of them. that persuaded me to go again the following Saturday & try different courses. We still found the main meals disapointingly bland & the portions small. Probably wouldn't go back again.
