Miele S4281

This is possibly the best vacuum cleaner in the world. Previously I have owned Panasonic, Hoover, Dyson - and none of them can compare.

I live in a large house which has wood, laminate and stone flooring downstairs (plus thick wool rugs) and tight woven carpet throughout the upstairs.

This vacuum cleaner is a marvel on every surface. It's range of power, 300 to 2000 watt, is awesome and it never fails to clean fantastically well. Also does really well on rugs, curtains and upholstery at the lower settings.

Yes - you do need to empty/throw out the bag but even when it is very full the suction is not affected. The last vacuum I had in this house was a Dyson which proved to be a real failure on any of the hard surfaces.

I cannot say enough good things about the Miele s4281. A definite Buy! (And I purchased it after reviewing all vacuums on Which? online - who also gave it an excellent review. Worth every penny.
