Had a Nokia 7110e for 3years. I paid a lot of money for this phone when it first came out, therefore feel cheated by Nokia, if not for the phone insurance I would have replaced it long ago, Too big and slippy!

I've Used This Nokia 7110e Mobile Phone For Nearly
I've used this Nokia 7110e mobile phone for nearly 4 years (ever since it came out) now, and it's still the best looking phone among my friends' even though they keep changing theirs. If you take care of it properly it should keep pretty well. My flip still works like it's brand new after all these years (I keep it open when I'm home), the phone book can contain up to 1000 names (mine's only up to 37%), and the battery still keeps its charge (I haven't changed it yet).
Sadly I now need GPRS so I'm switching to a new model, but even then I am not selling this one. If ever there was a 10/10 score, the Nokia 7110 deserves it.
Note: There are several versions of the software. Apparently, mine is the updated one. I've heard bugs on previous versions (names not coming up, etc.)

If There Is One Thing That Sets The Nokia 7110 / 7
If there is one thing that sets the Nokia 7110 / 7110e WAP Mobile phone apart it's the scarcity and uniqueness of the design. This phone will become vintage in a few years, so if you have a workig one, hang on to it.

I Always Wanted This Phone And I Just Couldnt Find
i always wanted this phone and i just couldnt find it.i remembered that my cousin had one but i only go to her house about twice a year. i eventually went to her house and asked her what she had done with it.i found it and then it hit me that she had brokenthe slide part leaving the keypad open for good. the main reason i loved this phone was because of the slide feature but it was broke off on this phone. i was very sad.i took it anyway because my cousin had got a new phone.i did not have a sim card so i took my dads one insted. i turned it on nd it was a pure amzing phone.it is a bit hard to use the menu, the ringtones were excellent though(when i eventually got to that menu).i loved it,then got bored of it,then recycled it.yes i have to admi i took it to the carphone warehouse and recycled the poor thing.i am sad to see it go but it was in a sorry bruised state.i like the look of the new 8910i phone and i am begging my mum to get me it but the price is the same as my phone number.it is very expensive.overall i liked the look of the nokia 7110 because of the slide feature that no other phone had.i wouldnt mind to get a new one but i would get laughed at if i took it out in the street.i would give it 10/10

Totally It's Not A Good Mobile Phone For Youth. It
Totally it's not a good mobile phone for youth. It's made for business. It weights 144gr and is a bit heavy these days.
If you would like to have a mobile phone, buy the 6310i instead. It's smaller, sexier and it has more functions, especially voice dialling - 7110 doesn't have voice at all -and less software bugs.

The Nokia 7110 Is A Nice Mobile Phone To Have, Esp
The Nokia 7110 is a nice mobile phone to have, especially if you have a powerbook/laptop which has infrared. The games are good, especially Snake II. Weighs 144g, is bulky but I'm hopefully planning to get a 5510 which weighs 155g.
Phone technology has improved a lot and there are certainly better phones (possible light colour ones {like Tokyo phones}).

The 7110 Mobile Phone Is A One Off Design That Nok
The 7110 mobile phone is a one off design that Nokia should have updated on, rather than withdraw the phone after a year and a half. I wished that the drop down cover could have dropped down further, as when I press the * or + or the # buttons, my finger gets in the way of my finger, so in princible, the key pad should have been greater in depth.
The send and close the call buttons should have redesigned so making them more visable to press, leave them where they are, yet make the stand out. Although there was a Limited Editon phone, was this purple in colour?, I do not know why Nokia did not have developed design coloured varients or differant designs of the 7110?.
Summing up, in all, the 7110e has a lovely feel about itand the shape is very curvey, a nice weight, although I only use the phone for also text messaging, I wished that there was key board key code to further protect it, and I like the Oranage badge on the slider cover.

Nokia, Please Take Note, Other Manufactures Have C
Nokia, please take note, other manufactures have created some very sexy & compact phones over the past year, i.e motorola v66, sony Z7e, samsung A300. However Nokia has always knocked the competition for six when it comes to being user friendly, we LOVE Nokias for that, however they have just become boring to look at, please, please get your thinking cap on, the 7110 was your last desirable phone that was just that bit different, it had that appeal. Please work on it. We love Nokia for its user friendly menus, systems and most of all their indistructablity. Well apart from the doors on the 7110, but dont let that scare you from trying again!.Just no more banana phones though!!! yuk!
