I went to Helibeds because my father had bought a bed recently from them,so it was really recommendation. The shop was well laid out, with a really good range and I was pleased with the prices too! I chose a 5ft bed and it was delivered in just 2 days.

Where possible we try not to buy off the internet and instead support local businesses. Particularly as we wanted a new bed and mattress so we wanted to try some first.

We visited their Cheney Manor store and was greeted by a pleasant employee who really knew his stuff. Nothing was too much trouble. There was a wide choice, of all sorts.

We chose a bed and were even able to choose which colour we wanted the bed base in as well as matching headboard. We only had to wait 3 days for Helibeds to deliver it and the delivery was just as smooth and easy as the purchase. Highly recommended.

I spent almost £1000 on a divan and mattress. The salesman sent a great deal of time telling me why 'silentnight', 'Sealy' etc were rubbish and sold me their garbage (they only sell their own product).

The divan was the worst possible quality, made out of thin, very rough soft wood and the draw fronts fell off after about two weeks. Internally the frame is put together very poorly with the wood coming away form its, stapled not screwed, joins. It really has to be seen to be believed.

The mattress isn't much better, and despite being so called 'memory foam' (which is supposed to spring back to its original form), there is a lovely dip where I sleep.

I am kicking myself that a) I purchased from them and b) I did not complain (I thought that being a bed, there was no point).

The thing that pushed me was the same day delivery, which they did provide, but take my advice - it's much better to wait for delivery of a decent quality product from a reputable manufacturer than buy the cheap and nasty products they provide. Avoid.

This is the second time i have bought from Helibeds and thought id say Thankyou Helibeds, I work what seems all the time never have time to spend days shopping. After looking online and not really knowing what i wanted I popped to Exeter helibeds after work. Open til 7pm - godsend. Helpful bloke who really seemed to know his stuff. None of the hard sell just full of information. Loads to choose from too. Picked an ottoman bed and was able to choose any mattress to go with it that i wanted. Bought the luxury visco memory foam as one of my friends recommended it and it felt nice. Came expanded so no waiting to sleep on it and they delivered it after 4 for me. did have to pay delivery though but to be fair such a good service from start to finish that i dont mind. No waiting no headaches and good service, thanks again!!

On time, reliable and very good delivery service. We have bought beds from them a few times before, and this time wanted it delivered to our Holiday cottage in Cornwall, even though we live in Gloucester. They still only charged their standard delivery fee all the way to Cornwall because they have stores in Cornwall which is very honest of them ,as I would have expected them to charge more considering it was very far away.

My father made the mistake of going to Helibeds to purchase a sofa bed...HE paid for the sofa bed in full before leaving the shop (BIG MISTAKE) on returning home and thinking about the bed he decided that it would be unfit for the purpose he needed. He returned the next day he find something better, sadly helibeds didn't have anything. He has NOT taken delivery from them yet they refuse to refund his money quoting company policy. Whilst my dad may be at fault, he's 79 yo and a full time carer for his wife of 50 years whi suffers with Dementia and Parkinsons disease. PLEASE think twice before you fall into the same trap.
