Without places like Dog Trust what would happen to these poor animals?
I got my beautiful Springer Jake from Kennilworth 6yrs ago & was told all i needed to know about him,the ups & down side to jake.Dog trust were there to give advise & support long after i got him home. unfortunatley i had to have him put to sleep 2 weeks ago, he became my best friend & i am going to miss him greatly, but i will go back when ready.
Thank you dog trust you do a wonderfull job!!

This Dog Trust shelter is about the best and the nicest I have been too!! All the dogs have plentiful food and water, blankets, toys and chews! Kennels are not cages but behind perspex (the dog is still able to smell you so the dog can tell if they like you) and there is an outside grassy toilet area! There are not too many dogs here and the kennels are spotlessly clean!!
Staff are very knowledgeable about the dogs, and take you through a detailed adoption plan!! They were also able to tell me about the history of each dog and their likes and dislikes, and whether the dog you have chosen has a history of biting or nasty behaviour! I found them amazingly helpful....and now over a year later they helped me find my best friend! Sirius, a bearded collie cross, and I can't think of life without him now!
So if your thinking of adopting a four legged friend please consider Dogs Trust as they really do care about getting their dogs to find their perfect forever home!!
They charge (at present) '£70 adoption fees but this is mostly neutering costs (which they do for you if the dog has not already been neutered) and this charge also includes an electronic tag for your new friend with you personal details on!...a small price to pay for having a lovable friend in your life!
