“Customer Care Abysmal at Best! Appauling after care!”

The aftercare is abysmal at best! Our home was handed over to us with the promise that the landscaping would be completed in the next few weeks, however, a year late and numerous back and forth emails (mostly ignored) we are STILL waiting for our patio slabs to be laid. “Vile sales, vile site and vile "customer" care”

Not only did we have such rude service and lies from sales (after reservation and when contract was being drawn up with lawyer), we then experienced rotten after sales service with deceit and lies on site. I wish i never walked in to the site 9 months ago and bought this house. It was a renovation to an old building yet they decided to just get up and leave after it wasn’t even completed. The factoring company will not take over the site because it is not yet finished so it looks disgusting. They laid dead grass and finally lifted it weeks later after many complaints. “NEVER BUY A MILLER HOME”

As much as a new miller home might look nice you will get nothing but issues and the after care is appalling, we thought this was our dream home but its turned into a nightmare due to the fact as soon as they get your money they couldn't care less. “Very poor soundproofing!”

I have a Miller home and it is lovely, however I can hear my neighbour yawning, conversations etc etc. I live in a semi-detached house and feel like I have been living with my neighbours for thr past 4 years. It is unbearable-you can hear everything-utensils being placed on worktops. I have never in all my life had to endure such levels of noise! The noise resignates around the house. At first I had been happy with my miller home, the sales rep was professional and very helpful and the site manager who seemed over worked and stressed was hospitable and proud of the houses he was building. It was after moving in that things to go wrong. There were more than 15 snagging issues to be sorted out. After they had been rectified, the bath leaked from the middle floor to the room below. I will never ever recommend anyone to buy miller home, if you be very very careful. They asked you money for extras without conclude missive and misguide you every time. Not sincere with buyer or their customers just think to benefit of their Miller only. So your expecting them to put all the extras in the house for free if you change your mind? The extras aren't chosen until just before the roof goes on. Which is quite late in the building stage. If you upgrade everything in the house and add all the extras and then decide you don't want the house. Why should miller homes lose money?

I means to say they are totally misguiding you; customer service is not to support customers. They have to figure out missive first before any dealing with customers on extras and ask for money, and all other builders like taylor wimpey.... they did upgrade and settle money later. There is no rule to ask for extras before missive conclude. They can simply refuse to customers for upgrade until missive done and I think that is more honest way. Customer also understand this rather than asking money without guarantee that home is yours or not.

paid a premium to buy my house through Miller Homes opposite open fields. We enquired as to whether they would be built on and were advised it couldn't be as it's Greenfield land. Comfortable with this we went ahead with the purchase. less than 4 years later Miller Homes and have won planning permission to build 208 homes on the very land they said could not be built on. “Misleading by the sales team”

The lease states that a lawn must remain a lawn and no permanent structure to be put on it... thought we bought a detached house with a separate lawn, it transpires that approx. 4ft beyond the neighbours driveway and brick demarcation belongs to my neighbour and they have allowed my neighbour to lay a footpath and then to plant privets all the way along. Nails popping I wouldnt as the builder to fix or the kitchen units, you should fix them yourself. If the dishwasher broke take it up with the appliance company. People buy houses and expect the companies to wipe your butt. It's folks like you that push the prices of homes up. I love my miller house and the whole experience. If I have a genuine issue it gets fixed. Get a life and fix your kitchen unit doors yourself

Lisawilmott82 you clearly haven't suffered the horrendous customer service that the majority of people on this site have experienced, maybe if you 'got a life' you wouldn't be reading reviews on Miller Homes if your home is so perfect. As for fixing such issues herself, why should she have to? You pay a premium price for a new build and issues such as those mentioned are not acceptable. I'm guessing she does not want to fix them herself as she probably does have other, more important things going on in her life (unlike some). If you had any sort of intelligence you would know the house prices are not rising due to customers having shoddy workmanship repaired, it's due to Miller Homes throwing up houses like there's no tomorrow, taking customers money and not giving a damn about the end product. Unfortunatley, there are less educated people out there such as yourself, who promote this terrible company . I actually wouldn't be surprised if you were a member of Miller Homes staff? If not, given your attitude I'd recommend applying fot a job within their customer services team. . You meet all their criterior. . Stupid, arrogant and rude.

“Incredibly poor snagging process at Miller homes”

Having purchased an ex-show home from Miller homes at the start of February, we are stil waiting on most of our snagging being done. Miller has been contacted loads by us, but they very rarely take the time to respond, and when they do it's meaningless. Their communication is absolutely horrendous. For example, when you phone up/ email to complain about waiting two months for a kitchen cabinet to be sorted out, you get a response about how subcontractors have ten working days to get in touch… Read Full Review
