Hotpoint BWM129

This is the third Hotpoint machine for me, the first two over fifteen years each and not one problem, but this is the biggest load of rubbish I have ever used. I have just washed two jumpers on the wool cycle and like so many other times it does not even get wet on parts of the laundry and it is even worse on economy, end up having to wash twice, a complete waste of time the only program that is any good is the super wash. In addition, I do not overload the machine

paddles inside machine keep breaking i have replaced them twice and thet have broke again.

I have had this machine for 3 years now and have lost count of how many times i have had the paddles replaced. I have had 3 pairs of jeans shreaded and a very expensive quilt cover ripped beyond repair. I have the machine insured but this does not cover the damage to my washing.When the paddles break off sharp metal spikes are revealed, this is what shreads the items.I had the complete drum replaced 6 months ago and thought the problem was solved until today, new river island jeans ruined.Am going to look for a new machine in a shop so i can make sure it does not have plastic damaging paddles.

Quite impressed with this Hotpoint BWM129 machine even though i really wanted a more expensive Hotpoint (couldnt afford it!).

The Hotpoint BWM129 only has a cold water inlet so it heats the water in the machine... would have liked to know this before buying it as we have a hot water inlet redundant now! Cheaper to use existing hot water as well, i should think. Its quite a low machine and we've got to read just the height as the kitchen cabinet door is lower than the rest of the kitchen cabinets!!!... save yourself time and check height first before you push machine in!
