Word: When I got this program I found it a bit hard on how to work it because I was so used to Microsoft office 2003. I didn't know how to save it for a while until I noticed the little Microsoft logo on the top left corner was a button. But once I got the hang of using it, I love it. I used it for spell checking when I was doing my school GCSE work which helps me towards my A and B. I like the way you can save it in Microsoft office version and also Microsoft 2003 version. You can get all these really good looking table effects and same with charts. There is different kinds of lines like double underlines or wriggly lines and you can get them in different colours from the text. There are shadow effects and 3D effects and you can do tables with formulas. I would highly recommend this program
Excel:
There isn't much changed about excel except the graphs effect and the interface all changed.
PowerPoint:
There are loads of stuff changed in PowerPoint from 2003 such interface and sound and effects.
Overall:
Great software, don ' t really need a high end computer to run it, just need to get used to the changed and improved interface.

A summary of Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint...
Microsoft Word 2007
Pros: Galleries of standard layouts combined with the ribbon interface make formatting tasks easier than ever. Improved document comparisons. Privacy controls instantly remove revisions and other metadata.
Cons: Some problems remain, but almost everything in Word 2007 is clearer, easier, and better.
Microsoft Excel 2007
Pros: Bright new graphics and charting, with dozens of advanced features easily accessible from the ribbon. Better visual feedback for complex features such as pivot tables. Million-row spreadsheets support massive datasets.
Cons: None so far.
Bottom line: Excel 2007 is as fast and powerful as ever, with vastly increased capacity and new graphics that convey information, rather than just pretty colours.
Microsoft Outlook 2007
Pros: Full indexing for messages. New ribbon interface for message-handling. RSS, voice mail, and SMS options. Tightly integrated shared calendars, contacts, and tasks.
Cons: Still slightly overwhelming. Time-zone handling still problematic.
Bottom line: The best overall business-level messaging and contact software, though probably too big for personal and casual users.
Microsoft PowerPoint 2007
Pros: SmartArt diagramming represents a huge leap in slide design and overall impact. Shared slide libraries promote up-to-date consistency across an organization.
Cons: Requires third-party add-ins for advanced video-based features.
Bottom line: This version of PowerPoint is probably the best presentation software available at the moment.
Overall very very good. I'd strongly recommend the switch.
