I use to be an avid user of chain reaction website. But since they got their new site up I have only been able to visit it once in the last 5 attempts !

I have ordered many a product from CRC and have been surprised how fast they have arrived. i had one problem with a faulty product but once i sent an email it was all sorted. but this new site they have is very slow and annoying after a while i just tried out wiggle.com

chainreaction used be good parts cheap price very fast delivery good webpage which you could navigate find stuff and order quite easy. now the the new site is slow does not load correct missing products which where orignally listed. some things that are not broken do not need fixing please fix the website this is one customer who will not be ordering until it works correct iam sure there are others

i'd been meaning to buy bits and pieces for my bicycle for a while and when the time came to replace my tires, i decided i'd just order everything to get my shipment's worth. order came up to approximately 90 euros and included 2 tires. the order arrived with only 1 tire. i could see on my account details page that the other 1 tire was showing as not dispacthed, just processing. i rang and asked and was told that it had in fact been shipped, albeit regular post, instead of dhl like the rest. i was told to wait until the start of the following week and then ring again if it still hadn't arrived. i was a bit apprehensive about whether it would actually ever arrive, after having read lots of negative reviews about crc, but it did, 2 working days after the other stuff. i've taken 2 stars off because they don't clarify on their site that the order could be sent via regular post and not courier and also because at first i was told the tire had been shipped, then that it would be shipped shortly, then again that it had been shipped. it wasn't until my fourth call that they clarified that it had in fact been sent via regular post and they couldn't thus provide any tracking number. otherwise everything was there, no damage, no problems ringing them up etc etc

I have saved a lot of money buying from Chainreactioncycles; however, all of my orders have been poorly packed. Items are loose inside the box and get damage from contact in shipment. My cranks have nicks and scratches. The cassette was inside a loose plastic bag so that all the cogs were marked up. If you need your item to arrive in new condition, don't order from this site. Otherwise, you will save money for poor packing. Just be warned.

They had been good suppliers for almost 18 months, but with my first really big order they sent it with two items missing. I E-mailed and they re-sent the missing items, but not the correct two items. So I now had duplicate parts, and order still incomplete. Have decided to close my account and stop using them after they failed to respond to my e-mails over the following two weeks. Not really happy about this situation. Good bye Chain Reaction

Placed 3 orders in the space of 1 week, all items that were in stock/in their sale or small parts that most shops carry and so far i've had to go to 3 different bike shops to obtain the items i need as crc haven't responded to emails, refunded or processed my orders. This seems to be widespread at the minute, another rider i know purchased a pair of saint cranks and received an empty box! if you need stuff in a hurry, don't bother, however if you're still young and are willing to wait until retirement to receive your goods then go for it!

Item arrived well packaged, but took sooooooo long to arrive. Also being safety equipment, you'd think they'd prioritise it a little bit! Would use again, but only if I could allow 2 weeks for delivery.

Products in stock are always sent out pretty quickly from what I can tell from my previous orders with Chain Reaction. They have always been the next working day for me. However I wanted to change an item on the order that hadn't yet been despatched so I emailed customer service and so far I have had no response other than the confirmation that my email has been received after days of waiting. I did a search and ended up here to find that many people have had problems with email support and calling. Not impressed.

never had problems with delivery via dhl to malaysia. packaging isn't the best - would be tough getting good ppl working there i'm guessing. fast to reply about questions on dispatch. ***no reply when it comes to damages*** i bought a rim and a cassette -same order. imagine the worst! :( so guys..... give some thought when clicking! u never know what's packaged properly and what isn't.

I took delivery of a large order from CRC in early November 2010. It contained a set of Fulcrum Racing 3 clincher wheels, plus miscellaneous other parts (to the tune of around $900AUS). I was happy with the website and prices.
But I was surprised to see the box did not have either "fragile" or "top stow only" marked on the outside, and the inside packing consisted of 3 pieces of cardboard only. The axle of one wheel was sticking through the box when it arrived.
I contacted the CRC service department to inform them of this (sent photos too). My hope is that CRC in the future do a better job of packing fragile items like this. I would advise prospective buyers to insist on this before committing to purchase.

I live in Australia and so far it has been a pleasant transaction with CRC. BUT beware of VAT FREE price. CRC web only take 11.9% OFF NOT the official 17.5%. A bit of a rip off if not illegal.

seem like a good deal at first with competitive priced products, reasonably well set out website and that all inportant free (fast) delivery. But as usual there is always a catch.
I've order a number of items from CRC over the last few months but my latest purchase has left me wondering how "valued" the customer is? Ordered a long sleeve jersey, and some other bits, but on arrival the contents of the bag labelled "long sleeve" was actually a "short sleeve". okay no big deal I'll call them up and inform them to check their stock before sending it back, err no chance of getting through on the phone in fact you get put through to an unmanned voicemail??? and then cut off?! so I emailed them using the address on the invoice - still waiting 2 days later...rubbish. These guys need to realise that they are not the only internet bike company around.
