Bought My Makuw Snowboard Smoothly Without Problem
have been looking for japanese brand Makuw for a while. All on season models shipped from japan costs $300-$500. Was looking for some older models from 3-4 seasons ago. Saw some older models left by the old distributor which has since closed in USA on board for less website. Only cost me $149!!!!! Saw so many poor rated reviews on those horror stories about board for less. So i used Q&A to check with customer service if they had particular models for the board i want. Responded fast no problem. Yes the website itself needs some upgrade and update. we still see christmas shipping details at this time of the year. Tracked the shipping by UPS. Delivered at my doorstep today. To get this board at $149 is a steal. I am happy to do business with board for less and i want to revert the poor impression and review ratings for this company. Because i have had great experience here. ITs a good place if you wanna buy some cheap antiques board .

Worst Online Purchase And Experience Ever!
I purchased three snowboards, three sets of bindings, three helmets, three sets of goggles, two pairs of snowboard pants. they shipped the helmets with the security tags still on! The youth snowboard boots were from Walmart and were not snow board boots! The youth pants were from Walmart and were not snowboard pants! Two days into my Utah trip my brand new snow board broke in half!!! I'm a beginner snowboarder and I hit nothing, the technician at the board shop in Bryans Head said the board looked defective! I returned the board after two months of trying to get help from Boards for Less for the warranty I finally had to threaten to sue them before they would at least give me the ok to return it!!! That was last March, my Utah trip was in January AND I STILL DON'T HAVE MY BOARD BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Boards for Less put's a hole new definition on the word SUCK!!!

3 And 1/2 Months Before They Credit My Return!!!
Buyers beware!!! do not use this company. I bought a pair of snowboard pants for yes very cheap. Had to return the item coz it doesn't fit. I bought it October 28, 2015 and return it Nov 4. I never got any email back telling me they received it then I have been calling them over and over and was told they're going to credit it back. Today, Feb 16, 2016!!! I spoke with a rep who is by the way 'not a good customer rep' and said he's crediting it back to my card. 3 and 1/2 whole months before they credited it back!!! Ridiculous ZERO customer service might as well close shop!

Restock Fee Charge Before It Even Made It To The Warehouse
I ordered snowboard boots and bindings. A few minutes after I placed the order I realized I ordered girls instead of boys. I immediately contacted them, they called me back telling me u have to pay a "restock fee"! Are you kidding me? It never was taken off the shelf. I could see if it was already processed, but come on. There are better places to buy online! He even had the nerve to ask me if I want to place another order?!?! Very poor customer service! Buyer beware! Try the House Boardshop, much better customer service!!!

Poor Business Acumen
The first order placed with Boardsforless, Feb 2015 all went well; no cliches. Current order Sep 2015; never delivered - they were paid and it is now Dec 2015! Over 2 weeks spent trying various phone numbers listed with no contact - sent emails w/atch copy of P.O. - no replies! Used the Home site, online CHAT twice, never could get a viable phone number or any one from the company to contact me about this order! They should not be in business if they can't maintain viable contact with customers. No excuses, explanation of why items were never shipped, or apology for perhaps a lost order. After submitting claims for reimbursement, no company rep has made any attempt to contact me - TOTAL "Give A **** attitude toward customer service. I cannot, with all conscience, ever deal with a company like this and I recommend no one else do this either!!!!!! Go somewhere else - LOW COST isn't always Better - it's just not worth the aggravation, time and energy to rectify poor attitude in business, and potential to mess up a Holiday or the winter sport event for the children! A 50/50 chance of fulfilling a legitimate P.O. is a pure **** SHOOT!!!!!!.

I Placed An Order With His Company Not Doing My Ho
I placed an order with his company not doing my homework first. I received an email from the person I dealt with saying that the bindings I ordered they did not have would send me higher quality pair. When I looked up bindings that she was going to send me they were cheap pieces of garbage sent numerous emails to them canceling the order and placed numerous phone calls to know avail I am now disputing the charges with my credit card company.

They Could Care Less
Ordered a package for Christmas. Advertised one way, received a board clearly not a unisex board. They acted like they were getting me a return authorization as I was just going to return for another board and pay my shipping. Promised not kept. Got an email saying send in with no authorization or confirmation of there willingness to care about consumer at all. No response time on emails, service sucks, just don't care. Caring on occasion is not caring about customers period. This outfit is a joke.

I placed an order with this company on November 28th for over $350. I received my package 2 weeks later only to find that they never sent my leash & lock combo. I immediately contacted them via email and received no response, nor did I get a response to the 3 emails I sent over the next week. The phone number goes directly to a voicemail with a full mailbox so no ability to leave a message. Also the live chat feature on the site never is answered. This company is run by theives! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!
Very glad I could help, I don't want to see anybody else get taken advantage of by this company. If you are looking for a reliable company with excellent customer service, fair prices and great selection. All of my purchases through them have been a wonderful experience.

You Get What You Pay For
Prices are cheap because quality is cheap. After I ordered the boards never came. I had to call and they did finally send them but the boot sizes were wrong and the quality was very, very poor. Stay away from this site!!!!
