5 week old faulty TCL brand-new TV, won't replace or refund? Avoid this company at all costs
1-star is too much please do not purchase from this company - I bought a TCL TV 5 weeks ago that is faulty and they simply don't want to know. See thread below

Thank you for your email and I am sorry your item has developed a fault.
As you have had the item for over 30 days but less than 6 months, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 then we have the one opportunity to either repair or replace the item and this is at our discretion, as you are covered by the manufacturers warranty then we would opt for a repair on the item, if this is possible.
The quickest way to arrange this is by contacting the manufacturer directly, in this case TCL by calling them.
Once again we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and we hope this is resolved as soon as possible for you.

I Purchased a TCL TV 1 month ago - ref; model: 50C655K and serial code: T2437003508 (via Mark Electrical order SO-137571 / CIN-130166) - I am very disappointed we've only had the TV for 1 month and it appears faulty and broken - under the warranty we require a new replacement TV -
The screen started to appear pink in places last night with noise crackles and distortion - I read up online and it appears to be the HDMI cable un-seated. The problem is I don't use HDMI cables - the TV is connected to 350mb broadband connection Plus Net and via Freeview Analogue TV aerial with gold connections on wire cable. This has not happened before - however I tried to fix the problem still occurred when I replugged the analogue TV aerial and also rescanned the channels for digital and analogue. I also clicked on the iPlayer BBC channel to watch via the internet and pink noise was still present and it was evident on watching a digital film via internet on Amazon Prime?
This rules out the faulty signal issue from the aerial on the roof. Also, on Amazon Prime the colours started to distort at the top of the menu screens by changing the colours of pictures (the scrolling banner for films became pink and weird orange colours) I can send pictures and want a replacement TV set sending out for replacement - otherwise I will report to Trading Standards and seek legal advice.

ordered oven and hob & paid extra for express delivery. only received the oven, driver said the hob will be delivered on next day. It never delivered...sent 5 emails and called 4 times, no result. it is nearly four weeks now no delivery, no refund.
Disgusting Customer Service, Avoid At All Costs
Marks Electrical customer service is DISGRACEFUL, ordered an oven two days ago as an emergency order, was supposed to be delivered 23rd dec, it wasn't. Promised delivery 24th, got a call on the 24th at 4 saying you forgot to put it on the van and it won’t be delivered until 29th December.
No Christmas dinner for a family of 8 and not even a half hearted attempt to get it to us!!!! Ruined Christmas dinner for us all... anyone with any tips on how to cook a full Christmas roast dinner with all the trimmings on a bbq?
Charged twice for the cooker also and no refund processed yet. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Go to ao and save yourself the stress.

Oven Came Dinted And I Lost My Electrician Deposit £100
£400 oven came dinted. I already paid a £100 deposit to an electrician who is here to fit the appliance. Because of your incompetence i lost my deposit to the electrician. Now without an oven. I have a disabled grandma and kids who i take careoff. Thanks a bunch. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER! No help what’s so ever

New Tv Missing Parts No Action To Correct
Bought a new tv on the Monday, arrived on the Weds. Installed on the Thursday. No power plug provided (wasn't in original box) and the Samsung Connect box just wasn't powering up. Clearly a fault.
Called up, had to raise a ticket.. Raised a ticket and they want to send a replacement power lead (note I used one from another tv and although yes I need one back that's clearly not the issue)
It's just a back and forth and no resolution for a product that costs north of two grand and they have no idea what to do.
Should be taking the faulty product back and replacing... yet nothing.. my issue...
Will be taking it higher... shouldn't have to.

Wow,I have a mother who is in her later years and need a bit of help all the time. She rang me to tell me that her dryer wasn't working and it would cost a few quid to get it right. We had a look on Amazon and Marks Electrical had a very good deal,two days later they were at the door nice and early. The guy's were very polite and friendly and informative. Would like to thank the team from me and my mum.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Awful service. Drivers are arrogant and rude. Have no idea or logic in delivering bulky items. Simple maths in working out angles is too difficult for them. Make excuses try to act as they are bigger than you. Chucked them out of my house as they thought they were experienced. Totally inexperienced who need retraining on how to deliver items. Could not work out that larger items go on trolley by depth not width! Was comical watching them.
Buy from them at your peril. Trust me you will regret it. Avoid them at all costs...
