The cleaner is easy to move around corners and is light. However, the ball prevents accents under items of furniture (even high beds). After a couple of years the device lost suction. Checks on seals and passages revealed no blockage. The company website was not helpful and the telephone helpline did not respond at all apart from repeating messages that it was extremely busy (with lots of problems, I guess). Cannot be recommended.

I bought one mainly because it is lightweight and back surgery left me with difficulties using heavy machines. It is sold as being lightweight and ideal for those with bad backs etc. It was a real disappointment. The handle needs to be used at quite a low angle which is uncomfortable, there is no facility to swap the head from carpet to hard floors, attaching tools is fiddley and they don't work well, it's noisy and worst of all the ball makes manoeuvring very hard on the wrists and back. All in all a bad buy. Mine will now stay the cupboard and I am looking for a better replacement.

I was so delighted, as always, with my visit to Currys of Apsley. I was immediately assisted when I arrived and told where the product was. On arrival on the first Imwas very ably assisted by 88ROB who could not have been kinder nor more helpful. I found the product and after consultation, I purchased it and it was carried out to my car. This particular assistant should receive employee of the month in my view. Well done Currys yet again!

I would recommend this machine as it is small compact and powerful, would recommend for a 3 bed room house, Not Great For a 4 bed roomed house, i would also recommend the DC25 as it is the bigger version.

Noisy with an unpleasant whine. Have to press button several times before turning on and off. 2 filters are supposed to be washed EVERY MONTH - they don't tell you that before you buy. Filters take ages to dry. Making a funny smell now when used. I'm not prepared to pay £60 for service visit as I don't want to keep it.
When using extending pipe, the brush is not angled so can't vacuum the top of cupboards etc. You have to stand on a chair and use the flexible hose.

Bought this to use in my mum's two bed flat. Don't normally like upright vacuums but this one is great. Small and lightweight and so easy to move around. I would think it would be ideal for small flat/house but would suggest a full sized one for a 3 bed house as the collecting container fills very quickly ~ I have to empty it after each vacuum. Also great to store as the handle slides down into the hose making it much shorter than a full sized dyson upright.
