Bought this on Groupon only 2 days ago and it arrived today! So far so good. It hasn't a mark on it and seems to be working fine. It will only chare to 90% and I ordered black and was sent silver, but that's fine. I am so far impressed and at £177 with free delivery I'm not complaining. It has the latest update on and came in an unbranded box with a separate charger. It was at 93% when I turned it on and now at 90%. I will look into the charging issue as this is an apple iPad 3 common fault.

Having read some disappointing reviews, I awaited delivery of my refurbished Macbook with a little concern. Howver, what I have received is an extremely clean laptop in perfect working order. The battery is in A1 condition and the faults (dents) are much less noticeable than I expected.

I ordered a MacBook through Wowcher for my daughter as it was such a good price. I was sceptical at first but it arrived quickly and in great condition. She is thrilled with it and I will definitely be ordering another one for my son.

Bought a second hand iMac off this company that was that a really good purchase. Great price, and in good condition and various upgrades (RAM, HD) were also very reasonably priced. When the iMac arrived I ran several checks on it to see if the disc was fragmented or if they were any other porblems - and it was OK. Will certainly bear this company in mind for further purchases and will pass on its name if anyone says "now where can I get a second hand mac?".

Somewhat hesitantly I bought my first-ever refurbished product. The iMac arrived on schedule and the look on my daughter's face when she opened the package ws priceless. But oh what a disappointment when we found that the charger didn't work and that the model was too old to install the latest OS and therefore she couldn't install the software she wanted to use. A quick call to PU and the very friendly staff member immediately said he would send a replacement charger and advised me to look for an older software package on eBay. Not an hour has passed and I got an email - the same member of staff had searched eBay for me and found the compatible software version on eBay and sent the link!!! A day later the charger arrived and a few days more and we got the new (old) software package and all is great. Exemplary service!!!

My refurbished iMac arrived on a courier within an hour's time slot week-packed in bubble wrap inside a box. It was listed on the site as Grade A. On opening the box the machine was in fact in mint condition... it looked brand new. It took me a little over an hour to migrate all my files, fonts and email settings from my old machine thanks to Apple Migration Assistant. Thoroughly recommended for quality of kit , sales and service!

I recently purchased a Mac laptop from Portable Universe. Now I'm not great at what GHz, MHz, i7 processors, RAM etc etc mean, but I found the service team at Portable Universe to be really helpful in identifying the right machine for me. The laptop arrived next day (brilliant!) and it's a completely lovely machine. It arrived well packaged up and in perfect condition, no scratches, a very clean machine and I'm delighted with it. After popping on here to have a look at the reviews I am shocked to read the last couple of reviews. 1 of the sales guys there rang me back 2-3 times after my call back request. Initially I was looking at the weekend and requested a call back. They called me mid morning in the Monday and explained that they only opened Monday to Friday and asked how he could be of assistance. I explained the my Apple Mac had died on me which I'd had for 7-8 years and that I had no idea what I was looking for so he asked me what I would be using it for whether I was likely to be taking the machine around on business etc and recommended a Mac Air or MacBook Air. It is perfect for my business purposes and is very light to be carrying around on train journeys etc. I just wanted to say thank you for the advice and great service. The unit arrived with me by the Wednesday of that week and has worked perfectly since. I would have no hesitation to go back and use them again in the future.
