AEG Electrolux Favorit F86070VI

We have owned the machine for four years. It has had two faults in that time the last one is too expensive to worth fixing being the pcb control unit. Very disappointing as it was an expensive machine.

We have had 2 AEG F86070 VI built in machines, first one broke after 27 months and was irreparable because water was leaking from the cavity -looking at the corrosion it had probably been faulty from new. If you want to buy AEG I suggest you try their customer service line first and learn how rude and unhelpful they are -if you are lucky enough to get your call actually answered. I stupidly agreed to discount on purchase of a brand new replacement - same model because I knew it would fit the slot. This one has just gone to the dump less than 3 years old kept tripping the electrics - turns out the insulation on rear of the machine has melted - lucky it didn't catch fire! We had about 5 cutlery baskets because they are such poor quality the plastic decomposes. All the wheels fell off the lower basket and I'd just ordered a replacement set when the machine failed completely - for months we'd had a 2p piece stuck to the upper spray arm because it was off-balance. I will never, ever buy AEG again.

Product malfunctioned continuously. AEG customer service rude and unhelpful.

3 heater elements and more than a dozen floods in 3 years.

AEG would not send an engineer to look at the dishwasher as there seems to be a deep seated problem. Spent more in three years on parts and labour than the dishwasher cost.

Meant to be a premium product. AVOID
