“Works for me.”

★★★★☆

Don't understand what the fuss is in some of the reviews. I bought one of these to replace an old aluminium one to use on an induction hob and it has worked exactly as expected. The quality, fit and finish on mine is good and the quick pressure release system works a treat. I find it a very stylish piece of cooking equipment. If you have a problem with the wire trivet all you need to do is to bend it apart a little and the basket is as stable as it needs to be. Separators are exactly that - the Prestige ones have the advantage that they can be used to separate into either three or four compartments - they do the intended job so what more do you need! I have never had a problem with pressurization - on a normal hob the unit takes a little time to come up to pressure and for the grommet to seal after the water boils inside, and then a further time to come up to the low or high pressure setting that you've set - no fiddling with extra wieghts, all you have to do is to switch the pressurizing weight to either setting I or II. If you need a good quality and modern pressure cooker, buy it and enjoy the benefits of pressure cooking!

We were forced to go the stainless steel route due to old aluminium model not working on new induction hob. No problems with the unit having used for the past year. We replace the main seal on a regular basis and pay around £4 for the spare in local store.

We imported this unit in to NZ some time ago and the whole lot was sold to a supermarket chain. We have had no complaints about the cooker. No phone calls or inquiries about problems.

Very confusing trying to obtain a genuine all-stainless steel type. Even Tesco Direct show a picture of one I could swear was all-SS, but it isn't! Lots of other suppliers don't even know either.
The current fad for using a fusible metal safety valve isn't to my favour, I'll just hope Prestige (Meyer Group) maintain their normally decent spares support. I've only resisted 10/10 because I've yet to see how long it lasts!
