I have never had any problems with them, although honestly I have not had cause to deal with any problems. They are significantly cheaper and a fixed monthly payment so the more you ave with them the less it costs, a fraction of the fees with HL. I am a bit surprised at some of the feedback on this forum but they are a low cost provider so need to make some allowances. I have experienced an on-going, still unresolved, problem relating to a Euro balance discrepancy with my Interactive Investor trading account following payment last July of a dividend denominated in Euros from a UK LSE main-market listed company (IAG). Well I'm not an employee of ii but actually I was able to open fresh account - onboard with ii within minutes last June - so much easier than when I first opened account with them in March 2018. Unfortunately you don't specify which bureaucratic processes were most causing you a headache and so I cannot comment further. I personally have found trading very easy especially on international exchanges which I found invaluable. Withdrawing monies back to my bank account was simple but not overly quick (trading day +2 further days) but whether this is industry standard or not I cannot comment upon.

I have been a happy customer for years but my patience is wearing very thin with the changes. Latest problem is I can't add funds to my isa, apparently I have to input some details again as I didn't put in any funds last year which is fine. Unfortunately the option you are directed to to do this by customer services simply doesn't exist. The response to me pointing this out is total silence. OK, but high fee's and slow to transfer I have been a customer since 2010 and although they do the same as every other share dealer, I found their fee's to be quite high. II charge a quarterly fee of £20, so when I got the message saying it is rising again to £22.50 (totaling £90 per year) I decided to move to another company. Ive found I am now a customer of ii now that they have taken over TD direct and they have changed all my terms and fees, so Im not happy with them. Can you tell me who you have moved to so I can check them out myself. I have looked at iWeb and they dont seem to do 'live' trading. I am worried that during the transfer process I will not be able to carry out any trades. I can sometimes trade 3 times in one day so this would be a problem for me if I dont have access. Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

The recent platform changeover has not gone smoothly but to some extent, a few problems were always likely to arise. What I find absolutely shocking is the inability to sell some of my investments and II's failure to deal with my urgent secure messages in a timely fashion. Do not go there! After trading with Best Invest without any problems over the past few years, I decided to change to Interactive Investor to take advantage of lower fees as I do not trade very often. I joined "iii" in November 2017 and I am still waiting for the money to be transferred from Bestinvest to "iii". This company has gone from bad to worse to terminal. The latest platform change is a total disaster Read these reviews, read trustpilot, and citywire - it is one story - once ok now terrible. I've been a customer for about 25 years. For the last few day, when I call them, I get the message 'we are experiencing high call volumes '. Last week, I waited for 35 minutes and there was no answer. Today, I tried again and had to wait for 20 minutes before they answered the call. Been with this shambles of a company for a couple of years suffering various issues along the way but this latest change of platform takes the biscuit. My wife and I had a "linked" account whereby we only paid £80/pa for both ISA's. I would ask all others who have similar views to write to
CEO, Interactive Investor and let him know just what a shambles this new platform is.

Never have I experienced such an appalling experience as when Interactive Investor imposed their new trading platform on existing users. Help desk was 30 to 45 waiting time to reset login passwords etc, funds gone missing and dividend reinvestment dropped for all open end funds and ETFs. I'm in the process of opening a Sipp. It was between Hargreaves and ii. Spoke to Hargreaves help desk within 1 minute. With ii its taken 3 phone calls of 20 minutes each and I ended up hanging up. I have been repeatedly been informed both on the phone and every 3 months that the £80 admin fee on my ISAs was being taken from my account associated debit card and then having this confirmed after the event. I have been waiting 5 months to transfer a SIPP away from company. I chose to depart because the tax credits on pension contributions are frequently delayed by several months (unlike the other major providers like Hargreaves Lansdown).
