“customer services don't care!”

I received the wine chiller on time in November. In April we noticed the temp inside chiller had risen. Called service centre and told them the back of chiller was frosting up.Engineer came looked at appliance and said That a different engineer was needed as he wasn't qualified for this. Booked another engineer who fitted something to do with 'the gases'. A couple of weeks later same problem. Another engineer booked. Next engineer reckons as it's opposite my oven it's getting too hot!! so we move chiller into dining room, no change! So another engineer bokked (4th ) he isn't sure what to do so goes away after telling us he will call his boss. I speak to boss and they say chiller will be 'written off' and to wait for someone to contact me. I get a letter to say go to nearest Comet?? with the letter and arrnge an exchange. So i do a 24 mile round trip to comet, Chelmsford to be told it's the wrong letter. Fortunately the man in Comet is VERY helpful and manages to contact someone , passes me on to them and eventually i get an exchenge date of 25 SEPTEMBER! I write a letter to customer services telling them of all the upheaval. They call me to say they can see all the trouble i've had but they do not offer any compensation as a Wine Chiller isn't a necessary piece kitchen equipment!!!!!!!!Unbelievable.

Excellent price and excellent call centre staff BUT due to a 'fault in the system' the delivery date was not the same as the one on the e-mail sent to me. If using Kitchen science ring and confirm the delivery date and check who the carrier is. If they are using Parcelforce no need to wait in

I purchased a small kitchen appliance which had been hard to find in the stainless steel version. The price was absolutely brilliant - I had found the best price to be £78 and that was for the black plastic version, the one I wanted was about £100. It was about £68 on the website but I found a 5% discount on the 'offers' page of the website. Postage was free which was fantastic!

I only have a couple of gripes - the item was marked as 'dispached' on the website within a day of me placing the order but still didn't arrive for 5 days. I wasn't provided with a tracking number even though it would have had one (delivered by courier). The main little moan I'm going to have was the way the item was packaged - well it wasn't! It arrived in its original (quite flimsy) box with nothing to protect it and no tape or anything to keep the lid shut. Luckily all the parts to the item were intact but it could easily have been crushed, been opened or come open itself. This also rendered the item unsuitable for a gift as the box was battered and had stickers all over it. I really think it should have been placed in a separate outer box to prevent any damage - the box it was in was not really strong enough and could have collaped.

Overall I was really pleased with the item and the price was unbeatable but I feel lucky I got the thing in one piece!

I cannot get in touch with this firm. I purchased an oven and took out an extended warranty but the number is not in use and my emails keep being sent back. How can I find out where to contact them?
