All the charm of an overcrowded booze cruise to Calais. It was like spending a fortnight in a floating boozer with an army of drunken chavs. As soon as we sailed they set about getting soused quickly as possible, bellowing down the corridors at 2am and having ice cream fights on deck dduring the day. The staff showed little interest in confronting this behaviour, they were too busy chiselling tips out of the passengers. And this cost us £2200 a head. Worst cruise ever!

“I thought the shows on our Independence of the Seas...”

★☆☆☆☆

I thought the shows on our Independence of the Seas cruise were poor except one, the ice show, but for 2 weeks on the boat I would have liked to have more things to do. I also thought it was so expensive. my family go on cruise ships once a year and have done now for many years and I felt this wasn't up to normal standards.
overall I thought the ship was to big and there was not enough to do. There was golf but I could not play it as there seemed to be to many ques. This also happened when i tried rock climbing and ice skating. It seemed like i couldn't have fun as there were far to many people and not enough things to do.

Excellent in every way, our second time cruising. Entertainment very good especially the ice shows. Food brilliant. Organisation exceptional. Very big ship lots of walking and stairs. Not a bad thing though I needed the exercise to burn off the calories. Booked for next year already. What more can I say!!!!

A fabulous ship, helpful and accomodating crew, an arrangement of food to seduce the mind and inflate the waistline.
