Philips Sonicare Toothbrush is good one.The product quality should make some improvement.

The toothbrush itself is not bad and looks good, even if I needed some time to get used to it. But for the price they sell it - even with the discount - one expects at least that it has a longer "life". Mine was broken in a bit more than a year, and I can´t say I was using it too much because I was alternating it with another brush I had. By that time I couldn´t find the receipt anymore and unfortunately had to throw the whole thing away. I understand it was my fault to loose the receipt, but I think they could also somehow save the information about their current clients online...

It is expensive, even with half-price discounts that abound but is pleasant-looking and features a unique cleaning method. Not sonic at all, it uses a forceful eddy of water which pushes up against the teeth and gums. The device took a month or so to get used to as it is quite speedy and gives a tickling effect to begin with. I had to keep stopping and starting for many weeks until I got used to it. Recharging is quite quick and power lasts for about a fortnight. The heads collect debris which dries up around the base and takes time to clean off when you get round to it. This was unsightly and, in my view, unhygienic. In less than 24 months the built-in rechargeable battery packed up and I threw the entire unit away. I never liked it and have now switched to an Oral B.

I am glad that others described their Philips issue. I bought the Philips Sonicare (HX6972/10 FlexCare+ Rechargeable Toothbrush with UV Sanitiser) as it looked so good. In less than a year the battery barely held its charge. Philips happily replaced the unit. Again, less than a year, that replacement has packed up. My partner has an (ugly) Oral B, but it keeps charged a long time and has not failed. I am switching to that brand now. Bad Philips!!!!

my mum bought me mine as a present it lasted just over a year and broke I contacted Philips as I was disgusted how much these cost and for it too only last a year is ridiculous they did replace it but now my 2nd one has just packed up and I have had just over a year I would never buy one of these again even when the half price offers are on my partner has had an oral B which cost 25.00 and his is still going strong and I have now had 2 Philips to his one!!!!! don't waste your money buy a cheaper one im sure it will do the same Philips you are ripping people off

No complaint about the way it cleans teeth but the thing croaked in less than 3 years even though I kept it well charged. And then the website is very inscrutable about that aspect. So, if you want to have good brushing but want to replace your device in three years, go ahead.

I bought one made-in-China Philips Sonicare tooth brush and found that it is sub-standard and could not be used without a major alteration made. The power plug pins could not plugin to any standard power point because it is over-size !
