I love this weed-eater great for keeping my 650m sq section tidy. battery lasts about 30 minutes of normal use or 20 min if trying to clear through an amazon type forest. very light and easy to handle it is also very quiet. blades are easy to replace and has a holder for them in the handle and takes 10 sec to change them over. they last well using new ones for straight trimming and the worn ones for edging. I'd say it was easy to clean but it is so easy to clean I have not really had to. The plant protector is great over all a well thought out unit. if there is something I dislike it is the trimmer does not extend long enough for someone tall.

how so many people have rated this with a low score is beyond me! (perhaps they should have researched there specific needs first). I brought this strimmer because i have two small patches of raised lawns that are underneath fur trees and very awkward to get to and it works brilliantly. First there is the adjustable tilting head to help with almost any angle needed and then there is the adjustable length for those hard to reach places. The conveinience of it being cordless is great too. I like the blade system as i didnt fancy winding up spools of string as this is a common problem with most strimmers, however it would be nice to have the option with interchangable heads. The strimmer can be adjusted so short that it ideally places into my small storage shed. Battery life is ok for my needs but people with large gardens should avoid unless they have a spare. All in all i am happy and feel i got the perfect product for my requirements.

i had used many strimmers in the past find that art 26 is the best sofar.it is an expensive unit to run as the plastic blades keep breaking nevertheless it gives a good cut and find it easy to use.the strimmer is 18v but i use 24v with mine as it gives more power and it is easy even to get 2nd hand 24v as bosch batteries are inter changerble.i rated value for money 3 star as plastic blades keep breaking.i will certainly recommend this strimmer to friends.

Love this trimmer, no more sitting in the garden winding up the string only for it to last 5 minute before taking the thing apart and rewinding the string. Sure it is not designed for a massive garden and granted it is expensive for what it is, but as long as you are prepared by charging the battery in the morning/previous day and a supply of the quick change blades you can whip round the garden in no time, stress free. Just not being a string trimmer sold it to me and it makes me happy every time I use it so much so I have also bought one for my Mum as they are light and very easy to use. I cannot recommend high enough if your garden small to medium and not overgrown.

The Bosch ART26 ACCUTRIM Cordless Battery Strimmer is a brilliant strimmer. Much more effective than the string trimmers and 10 times better than the terrible Homelite petrol trimmer it was bough to replace. The Lithium Ion battery on the new version lasts forever but IT IS NOT A BRUSH CUTTER! Some people seem to think that all strimmers should be able to cut through dense brush and brambles. They are for cutting grass and light weeds and, for this task the Art26Li is an excellent choice. Quiet, light and uses the same battery as the 18v Li cordless bosch hedge trimmer.
