Completely Aweseme And Extremely Fun. The Obj
completely AWESEME and extremely fun.
the objective of the game is to roam around in your ancestors memories as an assasin during the crusades. the are many things to do. the only bad part of the gameis that there is no free roaming but you can kill random people which is cool. you can kill in many differant ways and the way it mixes with free running makes a gaming experience like no other. the attention to detail is remarkable. there are many imaginative ways of killing people and some are quite amusing. the background story to the game is better than most games.
all in all assasins creed is great but has a few small faults hopefully the sequel will be perfect

Game With Incredible Potential Due To Ever Fun Cli
Game with incredible potential due to ever fun climbing system inherited from Prince of Persia, and the notion of scampering over building tops in a beautiful historic town setting to escape trouble as you run around completing your missions. The problem is that this potential was largely thrown away by saddling what is fun about the game with an overly complicated storyline and rather dull gameplay.
First the story. I won't spoil too much (but it's really too awful to be spoiled), but basically you are not simply an assassin of historic times cruising around doing your thing, you are the modern day descendant of that assassin reliving those experiences through 'genetic memory'. You regularly keep flashing back and forth between the modern day and the memories. It's a brave attempt at a more sophisticated plot, but the modern day snippets are just not exciting and the whole thing just gets in the way and becomes annoying. I think they should have just focused on the story of your descendant which is reasonable.
Second, the gameplay. The fighting is extremely simplistic. Left click swing sword, right click is block with a few other minor moves like big swing and grab. It becomes repetitive rather quickly. Next, is the system whereby guards/soldiers are alerted to your presence as an assassin. It essentially boils down to pressing a 'slow walk' button whenever they become suspicious of you, as indicated by a suspicion meter on your screen. Apparently, moving at a snail's pace is how people think you couldn't be up to no good. Anyways, because there are guards in many, many places you will find yourself walking in slow motion a lot! Finally, the missions. A lot people complain about their repetitiveness, and I tend to agree, but tbh, I think if the previously mentioned gameplay elements were more fun this wouldn't be an issue, but as it is the game just drags on, and on, and on..
I think people with a assassin fetish will probably look past the flaws and enjoy this game, but those that need a more balanced game are strongly advised just to rent this because you will be over it in a few hours.

After I Got My Xbox, I Bought Assassin's Creed Alo
After I got my XBox, I bought Assassin's Creed along with it.
I thought it looked cool, and it was. When I first tryed it out, I wasn't terribly impressed with it, like the headacing first part, and the long speeches. But after I got past thoose, I couldn't have been more impressed.
Beautiful cities and castles made out of Grade-A-Graphics, different weapons and missions. Assassin's Creed is a fantastic game, and I think maybe to be the next installment of the new Platnium editions.
