Boots No7 Anti Ageing Anti-Dark Spot Facial Sun Protection

I bought this - 'No7 Anti dark spot facial sun protection 50+VERY HIGH PROTECTION' in Boots at the airport because it was the only specialist 'facial' 50 + factor suncream,(I usually use factor 50 piz Buin) I never use below a 30 anywhere on my body as i prefer a healthy glow as opposed to brown.On the first-(cloudy incidentally) day of my holiday I applied as prescribed.It wasnt absorbed and was very thick,sticky and greasy feeling,made me look'super shiny'.I persevered for the day re-applying although it just rolled up into eraser style droppings.So unsatisfactory was it i decided to wash it all off mid afternoon and to my horror I was sun-burnt!I had used Piz Buins factor 30 on my body that day without a hint of pink, and had my head in the shade most of the day reading but was a ghastly raspberry tone on the face. Utter Rubbish. I can't find the receipt, but will be returning the product to a boots here as 'not fit for purpose.'

Incidentally, i went on to use the Piz Buin 30 on my face - case of have to and was very happy with the result.

No7 Anti Dark Spot Facial Sun Protection feels horribly heavy and sticky on your face. It's certainly not suitable for use under makeup because it's so thick and gloopy. Also they advise(on the tube itself) you apply 'generously' to gain full protective benefits, but it's so thick and unabsorpent-it rolls into balls on your face if you try and top it up even once-using small amounts. Very disappointed and didn't notice and moisturising qualities either????? I use the serum and night cram gladlyoever and like it. Big no no to the sun protection though.
