Purchased at Sally's by my mother for my 30th, stopped working after 2 weeks, lost receipt, took back area manager exchanged them in good will, next pair didnt work at all. A total waste of £68. But on the + side my mate has had a pair for 6 years and they are still going strong, but maybe hotter than they should of never been!

I was disapppointed with the kodo creative cermaic straightener product because it felt very rough on my hair, and I doubt if it is indeed solid ceramic - it feels like ceramic coated.
The plates do not touch completely, they touch only at the tips. The retailers told me that they are supposed to touch completely when heated, but that never happened! And it kept pulling my hair out.
Fortunately, my retailers were excellent...I got it from hairbitz, on amazon, and they readily agreed to refund the money...It was 43 quid and thats money not well spent. But I got my refund and am happy...advise u to spare yourself the trouble.

Kodo has created a confusion. Some sites mention the temperature range as 60 to 210, others say it is 140 to 210 on the Kodo Creative Ceramic Straighteners....if it is indeed 140 to 210, i'd rather buy the braun satin liner which is cheaper and a better brand. Why does Kodo not clarify this...and also, are the plates ceramic coated or solid ceramic??
