ProTrolley GT300

Had the trolley 3 years - initially OK although motor is noisy. However, in the last year had electrics repaired once, repaired the electrics myself once and now the metal bar connecting the handle to the rest of the trolley has snapped off! Not exactly what I would have expected.

Bought this trolly 3 years ago, had nothing but problems. Bought what I thought waqs a 36 hole battery, did not complete 18 holes, eventually having threatened with Trading Standards got it changed. Still won't do 36 holes but can't be bothered argueing.

The top bracket for holding the bag in place is not strong enough and constantly swivels around making the bag drop off. The wheels keep dropping off as well, now looking to replace, had enough. Have a friend who gave up with his after 2 years.

I would like to share my experience regarding the purchase of a Pro-Trolley

1.The Battery 36 hole type lasted 10mths then had to be replaced.

2.The Frame holding rivets snapped and had to be replaced.

3.The Driv Shaft broke in half had to be replaced

4.The Variable Speed Control pack in and had to be replaced [TWICE]

5.The Wheel spokes sheared [3spoke type] and have had to be replaced at my expence with [5spoke type]this 6weeks after i paid £45 to have my trolley serviced.

Clearly this product is not fit for purpose and anyone thinking of purchasing one should heed this warning !!!

I've read reviews from other buyers and they all complement on their aftersales service and i agree it is very good but the product is of very poor quality .

My GT300 is under 2yrs old and the excuses i've been give is Ware & Tear

If I could give this zero stars, I would.

This was my first electric golf trolley. I have struggled with it over the past 2 years.

It has suffered a litany of problems.

Control handle failed twice, once snapping clean in half.

Battery supplied, extremely poor, rarely lasting 18 holes (this was a 36 hole battery). I had to replace this with a better battery at further cost to me.

Aluminium upright, snapped during a round.

Tyres shredded.

This trolley was used quite lightly.

I have persevered with this very inferior product - the control handle gave up, again before my last round of golf ( this control handle was only about 9 months old).

In my opinion, this product is of inferior quality and is not recommended. I am not willing to spent any more of my time discussing this with ProTrolly.

I am now waiting delivery of a new trolley from a well known manufacturer.

Have just bought htis trolley and have found that the top bag support is too low for my bag(wilson elite), the strap has to be at an angle to tighten. I was told that perhaps this bag was a one off that has to be on a custom trolley that suits the bag..I don't think so! I would like to know if has anyone else had this happen with this trolley? Also the front wheel seems slightly out of line but will give it a good run before commenting any further.It would be a good idea to have info on bag lenghts before purchase!!

I have owned one for three years. Still using same battery and covering lots of mile. Thanks ProTrolley for improving my game.

The GT300, is a very good trolley, very well made and has a lot of functionality. The trolley was delivered within 24 hours of ordering and I was able to phone a speak to a helpful person in the UK.

GT 300 Excellent trolley. Just what I had been looking for at half the price. Light weight, good looking and easy to manouvre, what more could you want from a golf trolley.
